Summary
Life's a party, and Roman White is determined to have a good time. As the youngest captain at his airline, he has to endure a little good-natured ribbing, but at least he has the perks of being a pilot: constant travel and four gold bars on his shoulder that help him find men in every town. When he tries commitment, he always overcommits and scares off boyfriends. Why bother settling down?
Oscar Brooks is at the top of his game. As a dancer, he’s constantly touring with a prestigious company and stretching himself to attract his directors’ eye for a leading role. Even his frenemy-with-benefits in the company can’t distract him from his goal...until everything goes wrong in a heartbeat and he has to rebuild his life. What is he supposed to do now?
Roman has a spare room, and Oscar needs a place to stay. It seems like a match made in heaven. Except the chemistry between them didn’t stop after they tried to get it out of their system...and the attraction is only getting worse. Even their friends are trying to keep them apart, afraid of what can happen when two free spirits collide. Will they break each other’s heart, or can they break out of their patterns and chase their dreams together?

Another winner in the series
This is my favorite entry in the series so far. I love stories about dancers and the heartbreaking end to Oscar's career was sensitively described including his pain both physical and emotional. Both he and Roman have always played the field and watching them mature and learn to talk to each other captured my attention from the first. Greg Boudreaux is as always, perfect for this series. His emotional range is put to the test here as these guys struggle to open up and reach their HEA. E. Davies does not seem to be able to put a foot wrong with any series.

favorite so far
This has been my favourite story in this series so far. Seeing them hide from each other emotionally because of falling too fast along with their unsupportive friends was refreshing.

A dancer and a pilot, great for standby sex
A dancer and a pilot, great for standby sex, but is it enough for the long haul.

Roman and Oscars book
We met these guys briefly in book 2 and finally they get their own book.
Whilst both in town they hook up. Roman being a long haul pilot is away a lot, Oscar being a dancer is also around the world so hasn't got a base at home.
After an accident leaving the dance studios, Oscar has to leave the dancing world for 6 weeks minimum, in the world of high-end dancers, this is a life sentence. He heads back to his hometown to stay with his best friend, but that isn't a realistic option, too many stairs.
Roman meets Oscar again on a night out with the significant brothers, and decide that a hook-up would work again. Will they get together or will it be a like planes that pass in the night, should that be ships.
This is another great book in the series from Ed and again narrated extremely well. Can't wait for the next book.

Great addition to the series!
Slick is book 3 in the Significant Brothers series but can be read as a standalone with no problem. Greg Boudreaux did another fantastic job with this story; I love listening to his voice.
The dancer and the pilot – an unlikely pair? After Oscar injures his knee, thus preventing him from dancing, Roman offers his spare room while he recuperates. They didn't expect to fall for each other.
Not being able to dance is really hard on Oscar and Roman is being harassed by another pilot at work. Roman's job keeps them separated for days at a time and they aren't doing a very good job of communicating with each other which leads to misunderstandings. I loved it when they finally started talking to each other and the epilogue was great.
I'm really enjoying this series; I look forward to listening to more of the books.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

wonderful!
This book is a great addition to the series! I'm really loving listening each story. What I enjoy the most is how strong the friendship is between this group of characters. I love how they support and take care of each other. I love the teasing too. The main couple in this book was adorable and they had fantastic chemistry. Their story warmed by heart and I can't wait to listen the next one. The narrator is absolutely brilliant!!

Wish I could give it 10 stars.
This book has been such a wonderful journey from the opening chapter. It was so such an enjoyable story that didn’t go overboard with drama. It was perfectly balanced with the rest of the book. I also really enjoyed the dirty talk it was very enjoyable. Even though this is book 3 I started here and can happily say it made sense and has convinced me I need to go back to the beginning.

Wonderfully Written, Low Angst Romance
I’m having the best time with E. Davies’ Significant Brothers series. Slick is Roman’s story and I loved seeing him get tamed by Oscar.
Each one of these guys’ stories is creative and interesting, low angst, and an absolute pleasure to listen to. Yes, you can definitely do them out of order and they’re all narrated by Greg Boudreaux who does a marvelous job.
Just have to say though, E. Davies writes some of the best dirty talk I’ve ever read (and audiobook fans how incredibly well Greg Boudreaux performs it!). These books are wonderful, if you’re just looking for a feel-good, nicely erotic romance, the Significant Brothers series is the way to go.

Instant chemistry leads to more
This series is just happy, fluffy, fun, goodness. Oscar and Roman had instant chemistry when they met earlier series, so I was definitely looking forward to their story. The chemistry is still there, but there’s so much more than that to their story! Each of them is so relationship adverse that they can be complete dummies about what’s happening between them, but they do eventually figure it out and make a wonderful couple.

Yes! Roman and Oscar!!
I'm so glad we didn't have to wait for Roman's story! he's larger than life personality flew off the page and while he seems at odds with himself at times he's just so lovable.
Oscar falls on hard times and Roman sweeps in accidentally starting a new path for both of these "slick" men.
I felt the heart and passion between these two and like the previous 2 books the characters really just needed to talk to each other! but it all works out in the end and it's a hot and steamy journey to get there 😉
