Sing out loud, sing out strong
There is a lot about this audible book that I really liked. It gives practical advice as to how you should prepare your body for singing and how to use your diaphragm to control your breathe and sustain notes. This is all good stuff and essential to anyone who wants to sing to any standard.
However, this is very short indeed at just over an hour and a half and it is a shame that more could have been made of this opportunity to publish an audible singing guide that gives the listener more. True, some of the exercises can be repeated and used as practice aids for the budding singer, the only problem being that the backing "music" sounds like it has been recorded on either a Bontempi or Casio keyboard from the 1980s than cost £12.99 from Argos. It really could have been so much better than this.

Very good jumping in point for vocal training.
I really liked this. There is a lot of breathing, posture fundamentals for the first half, which might put off the "I wanna sing great NOW" brigade, but it's all needed, and then about half way through Nancy gets into some great vocal exercises for the rest of the audiobook which will definitely challenge and advance your singing voice. Stick with it. Will listen to this over and over again.
