Summary

Ahi is an aspiring publisher and wishes to make it big someday. When her favourite author’s autobiography lands on her table - which has confessions of his heinous crimes, illegal businesses and few eminent others as his partners in crime - she doesn’t know if it’s real or someone’s trap. It could get her a big breakthrough, but little does she know that it would turn her world upside down completely.

Her morbid curiosity pulls her into the depth of a conspiracy. She finds herself in the centre of various mishaps and murders, as if someone wants to lead the way. Driven by her childhood friend Samim’s encouragement, and watched over by the ever so charming ACP Rathore, she has to jeopardize her life to find the brutal truth of her past.

Touching, thrilling and deeply mysterious, Sin Is the New Love is the journey of a girl who stumbles upon the truth about her origin while chasing her dream.

Utter drivel…can’t believe it’s he same author

Drivel and gratuitous swearing with none of the positive attributes I was hoping to find

The narrator’s English and the very silly writing

I didn’t like anything. I couldn’t finish as the reader speaks bad English and the grammar of the book is bad anyway

author isn't Abir Mukherjee of Sam Wyndham series

I bought this book on audible thinking this was the latest from Abir Mukherjee of Sam Wyndham series. only to find that the author is his namesake with the same surname
very soon after a few pages I was convinced it was not the same author.
an amateurish writing style.
sudden bursts of whole sentences in hindi and bengali that were left untranslated
an immature and opinionated descriptions at various places left me feeling betrayed.
a note to the author Abir Mukherjee originally from bardhaman an IT professional currently in USA
your mystery novel is a good attempt in this genre. but a tighter editing and better' honing of the craft of writing mystery novels would help you. in itself the plot was fantastic.

I could have read your book on Kindle unlimited for free. would not have purchased it on audible.co.uk.
I cannot but help feel cheated.

Chopped and changed too quickly

Ioved the concept, and the story, but I had to really focus as the storyline chopped and changed perspective in a way that meant I kept having to rewind to understand that when the viewpoint had changed. Made for a difficult read. Annoying as I usually love Abir Mukherjee's work.
