Summary

Yep, did it again, just brilliant!
A perfect match of author, story and narrator that would make you think that audio books can’t get better then this.

Great but unrealistic ending again
The stories are good and I think the writing quality is improving. I just struggle to understand why it ended like that, and this isn’t the first time an ending in this series has jarred with me. It makes it harder for me relate to Jessica.

Bit of a roller coaster...
...and not just Blackpool's Pleasure Beach in the background :)
The Shanty is a brilliant place, and Kerry has filled it with marvellous characters. Gotta love Fran.
When Becs turns up I shouted "YES!" and might have had tears in my eyes, but someone was chopping onions... somewhere.
And when Becs didn't leave with Jess, I was as confused and dismayed as Jess was, I'm sure.
Major props, no bloody Archie, thank heavens. Though there was very little sign of Izzy and nothing from Dumbo Dave either.

Brilliant story
Although this doesn't race along at 100 miles an hour, there is a lot of action going on under the surface. Exactly what I have come to enjoy about Kerry Wilkinson. Brilliantly narrated.
