About this listen
TOP #75 AMAZON BESTSELLER!
A standalone, Hades and Persephone modern-day retelling.
I sit on a throne of sins.
Silent in the shadows, untouchable like the King of the Underworld himself.
Few even know the sound of my voice, but those who fear me call me Monster. My men just call me Pakhan.
To her, I am Nikolai.
Her savior. Her captor. Her lover. With hair as bright as the sun, a face that could sink a thousand ships, and more curves than I can handle, Cassiopeia. Is. Everything.
But she’s in danger.
And safety comes with a price tag.
She can fight that, can even fight me, but I’m her Hades and I won’t let my Persephone go…
This is book one of The Forgotten Boys, a Russian Mafia series set in the Five Points' Mob Universe

Bratva romance with all the spice
This is the book I didn’t know I needed. If you're familiar with the Five Points universe, we will have already met Maxim & Misha. In this book we are introduced to Nikolai and he has just become my new favourite Russian.
In Silenced, we finally find out what has happened to Cassie, who is a friend of Savannah Daniels. Nikolai rescue’s Cassie from her abusive husband and decides he is keeping her. I love the way that Niko restores Cassie confidence in herself as a woman and I love they way he does it.
Jason Clark’s Russian accent is fantastic. He is Nikolai. Together with Celestine Wolf as Cassie, this audio book is a must listen.

OMG soooo good!
I was sent an Advanced Listener Copy so I could enjoy the audiobook. I loved Nikolai and Cassiopeias story! It was beautiful. The MMC is mute and I really liked how it was portrait in the book. I'm also suffering from PCOS and felt so seen when I read the description. It's all over a really good book and I can't wait for the next book in the series.
The narrators have been great! I love how Jason Clarke portraied Nicolai and the accent was perfect and sooo hot! Celestine Wolf was great as Cassie. I really liked the duet narration and the audio book over all!

Loved it
Silenced on audible narrated by Jason Clarke and Celestine Wolf I loved listening to the voices of Jason Clarke and celestine they brought the characters to life and when Jason Clarke spoke in a Russian accent it made you feel like you were there in the story with them. I loved listening to this book on audible you can put your headphones in and just get lost in the story of Nikolai and Cassiopeia
Silence the forgotten boys this is a standalone series from Serena Akeroyd. And Wow what a great start to a series. This is the story of Nikolai and Cassiopeia
Nikolai is The Pakhan in Miami and he has the respect of many of his men. He’s not had an easy life. He grew up in an orphanage in Russia, where he made two very good friends Misha and Maxim and when an unforeseen accident happened to the orphanage, he fled with Misha and Maxim were they lived on the streets. while they were living on the streets, Misha and maxim brought more boys to Nikolai where he put them up and fed them. Nikolai found Dmitri hiding behind a big bin he had been beaten by his father who was very high up in the Krestniy Otets but his father, tracked him down, took him back. Nikolai manage to save enough money to get them out to Russia and just before they left. Dmitri found them again, and he has been beaten by his father again and they smuggled him on board and brought him to the USA with him.
Cassiopeia or Cassie for short had a loving family until her father passed, and then her life spiralled out of control. Her mother went into a deep depression, and Cassie felt lost. She met Harvey and married him and her life changed into fear and pain from the abuse she suffered from Harvey. Until she accidentally bumped into Savannah in a cake shop. We’re savannah helped her to leave Harvey But Cassie left and Harvey found her again savannah was worried about her and asked Misha for a favour to help find her friend, and that is how Nikolai comes into Cassie life.
In the story, we also get to see the relationship between Nikolai and Dimitri. They have a father-son relationship and I absolutely loved it, especially when he was dancing Cassie an offer to help her leave. If Nikolai I was hurting her. I also loved that two characters from out of the filthy series, made a short appearance in the book. I can’t wait to find out more about Dimitri Misha and maxim story.
I have to say that towards the end of the book I cried a lot, and I couldn’t put the book down. I absolutely loved the story. and loved the characters I can’t wait to read more about them all

Top notch narration 🎧
Captivating performances - in this
duet narration by -
• Jason Clarke as Nikolai (Niko) Veles
• Celestine Wolf as Cassiopea (Cassie) Rundel
What a revelation Jason was as the 'mute' Niko, his growly deep tones brought so much depth to his character.
He bowled me over with his Russian accent, delivering the rough, brutal, vulnerable, and caring dichotomy of Niko to life.
Celestine wowed as Cassie, showcasing her talent throughout. She perfectly portrayed the vulnerability and mettle of Cassie as she emerged from the shadows to become the determined lady who stood side by side with Niko.
FANTASTIC - I loved every second.

beautifully complex romance
I have just finished the audio of Silenced and listening to the story told was perfection. Jason Clarke is one of my favourite narrators anyhow. But he captures Nikolai's complexities and his obsession with such passion and clarity. I adored hearing his inner narrative spoken with Jason's voice and his dialogued Russian accent. Celestine Wolf performs Cassie with a broken feistiness. You hear her blossom under his care and protection.

Outstanding
I was lucky to receive an advanced listener copy. This is one of the best audiobooks I’ve listened to this year! I love the duet narration of this original and captivating storyline. It is a superb modern retelling of Hades and Persephone.
Jason Clarke and Celestine Wolf are outstanding in their performances of Nikolai and Cassiopeia. They have enhanced this storytelling and truly brought it to life.
Nikolai ‘Mute’ is the pakhan in Miami and he rescues Cassiopeia ‘Cassie’ from her abusive husband. Nikolai is very possessive and will punish anyone who disrespects his woman! Look out for Vasily….
The story is spicy, intriguing, addictive and intense. One I will listen to over and over again.
