Beautiful
Amazing, calming book. Stunning story, with soothing soundtrack that is perfect to undertake meditation/ yoga/ tai chi to etc. Thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Siddhartha read with ambient background music!
Having read Siddhartha as a teenager I came back to listen to it on audible. The performance was ok as far as I heard but I was very disappointed to find out the reading in this copy is accompanied by an ambient music in the background! Returned.

Fantastic story, decent narration, poor recording.
I have heard this wonderful story in different language (Czech) and was looking for an English version that would be narrated with similar passion and warmth I've heard it before.
This version - by Paul Ansdell isn't too bad, although I really strugle with Paul's pronunciation of "Govinda". I rated this particilar product offered by Audible this low as the recording is awfully compressed and sounds very unnatural. I will be asking for my credit back..
