Nice background

Not much in the way of mystery, in this book, but some great background to the characters. Clear narration with distinct voices.

A reunion of old friends

A short story about old friends who had not seen each other in awhile. Four years is a long time to be away from the place where you grew up. But sad memories of the past can keep a person wanting to shy away from reliving the pain. As two friends reunite, the memories of the past come to the forefront. True friendships can always withstand the test of time. I really enjoyed this story. Great narration by Stephanie Quinn.

Shortcake, Surprises and Secrets

We finally get to see why Scott came back home and boy is it a doozy! Such a fun listen where we can see more into the minds of the main characters.

brilliant.

this serise of cosy mystery books are amazingly written, Meredith Potts has captured the essence of cosy. these books are like a faveroit soft toy you grew up with. As you would expect the characters are great. can't say too much as it would give the plot away. Its a must have though.
The narration is flawless, keeping tradition going with the character, Stephanie captures a plethora of emotions, and bring each character to life, giving that little extra to the story.
This dynamic due, compliment each other.
5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ awesome cosy mystery serise.

A short story

As I listened to this book I was expecting another murder or mystery but I think this is just what I would call a filler book. Filling in the gaps between the murder she has just solved and the next one. A short novella. I need to listen to the previous book as it would make more sense then.
