Not as good as the first books
The story was a bit weak. I guessed who the murderer was as soon as Charlie was killed.
However I did enjoy the book. I found the narration good apart from the voice of Anna. I could not help but giggle due to the fact it sounded like Grandad from Only Fools and Horses. I kept expecting her to say Del Boy at any minute.

Love these stories of Harry and his team
So pleased I found this author and Harry Grimm. The stories are so gripping and the narrator is amazing. Will have to dig deep into my pockets to extend my credits as I can’t wait another month to read the next one. Reading this series makes me want to visit Wensleydale and see it’s beauty for myself

Magical prose
David is not only a superb crime fiction writer, he is also a great writer. His colourful, fresh, and evocative figures of speech would make Wordsworth envious. The plot is twisty enough to ensure page turning. David is obviously a man with deep feelings that he expresses with panache. Recommended. Highly! Aubrey brings accents galore to a wonderful narration. Thank you both.

Brilliant again
I have come to really like this team, just like DCI Harry Grim. I am traveling through all the books in the series and now about to listen to book 5. Really pleased I found the series, the narrator is excellent too very important to have can ruin a good book, which these are.
