Not as good as the first books
The story was a bit weak. I guessed who the murderer was as soon as Charlie was killed.
However I did enjoy the book. I found the narration good apart from the voice of Anna. I could not help but giggle due to the fact it sounded like Grandad from Only Fools and Horses. I kept expecting her to say Del Boy at any minute.

Thoroughly enjoyed the latest Harry Grim book. Beautifully read by Aubrey Parsons. I am absolutely hooked on all the characters. Can’t wait to listen to be the next book in the series Janet, Kent

Brilliant again
I have come to really like this team, just like DCI Harry Grim. I am traveling through all the books in the series and now about to listen to book 5. Really pleased I found the series, the narrator is excellent too very important to have can ruin a good book, which these are.

Yet another finnished
I started reading book one on 1st March , today I started book 5 👌 I am hooked 🤷♀️each book is better than last and they have all been a great read .
I intend to read whole series to date as I am living the characters, narration and storylines . Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

love it
wonderful Yorkshire and the Dale's, detective stories, changing perceptions and nice people. so tired of lead characters with drink, marital, aggression, angst excess violence and superior officer issues. for all Harry's problem background he is in a way uncomplicated and the story doesn't get lost. reader is a bit too gruff and forceful but that doesn't spoil the enjoyment.
