The Adventure of the Dancing Men, a 1903 Sherlock Holmes story written by British author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, is one of 13 stories in the cycle published as The Return of Sherlock Holmes. This is one of only two Sherlock Holmes short stories where Holmes' client dies after seeking his help.
Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (May 22, 1859-July 7, 1930) was a British author most noted for his stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes, which are generally considered a major innovation in the field of crime fiction, and for the adventures of Professor Challenger. He was a prolific writer whose other works include science fiction stories, historical novels, plays and romances, poetry, and nonfiction.
Jordan Dey, a native of the Highgate section of London, studied drama in Vienna, Austria. He has voiced a number of audiobooks and industrial audio programs for many of the world's largest companies. He currently resides in Chelsea with his wife, Margaret, and Englis Pointer, Gertie.
