major plot hole
I've been listening to all the Michael Bennett book back to back after completing the Alex Cross series. It's maybe because of this that I find myself disappointed and frustrated. In the third book when Emily Parker is introduced she has a daughter called Olivia and an ex Husband. This story seems to have totally forgotten that. I don't want to spoil anything, but there was plenty of opportunity to bring Olivia up. With an author of James Pattersons caliber, it's not something I expect, and I find myself very annoyed by it.
Story itself is good. Did not like the drastic switch of narration type, but you do get used to it.
I would also like to see a female charachter introduced that is not written in a way that makes them all size 0 waistlines (4 if they are pushing it), dazzling smiles and flawless looks. It's not only James Patterson that is guilty of this.
There also seems to be a pattern of women and fertility issues....maybe we couls try something new!

Not my favourite narrator
Really good story. Just not my favourite narrator.
It’s relatively a straight forward formula novel. Not his best, but still worth it

Not the usual standard but worth a listen
I have loved the previous Michael Bennett novels but found this one to be overly sentimental and slushy. The story was ok but a touch predictable, I still enjoyed it though. The narrator did his best but Danny is the true voice of Michael Bennett!

Where is Danny Mastrogiorgio?!
A typical Michael Bennett book.
Generally well read, but the narration is very cringe with exaggerated inflection throughout... Where has Danny Mastrogiorgio gone? To me, he is the true voice of Michael Bennett.

Only ok
What happened to the voice of Michael Bennett - Danny Mastrogiogio? Simply not as good with this narrator who mispronounces words and gets inflection very wrong.
Not the best in the series by a long way - I got the murderer quickly.

Mickey Spillane's worst is better than this effort
Naive and juvenile work. I won't be buying any more Patterson/Michael Bennett ghost written trash. The narrator's attempt at an Irish accent is an affront to his Northern Irish ancestors. Joshua Kane should listen to real Irish speakers and practise the accent.
