Intense military romance!
I loved these audiobooks. They are standalone but I think I enjoyed them more because they flow from one book to the next and feature the Linear Tactical community. These two books particularly work well together because there are siblings involved.
Aiden and Violet's story picks up where the previous story ends. Violet was kidnapped by human traffickers and Aiden, working under cover, finds her. It is a race to extract her from the situation and then protect her while taking their relationship from victim and rescuer to lovers and more. There is a sweetness to this story which seeps into Gabriel and Jordon's story as well.
Jordon is a character that readers have been encountering from the first book in the series. She so deserves her Angel and happily ever after but her road is rocky and filled with seemingly insurmountable challenges.
I love how Janie Crouch balances highly alpha men with extremely intelligent women. There is definitely an element of the strong males coming to the rescue but the women are no wimps!
