Nail biting
This story combines intrigue, adventure, magic with a dash of magic. The characters are loveable, even the dodgy ones and the plot keeps you guessing.

This is the first EVER audio book I have listened to and finished fully from the start..
Oh my days I cannot wait to read this myself but wow I loved it!!
Brilliantly narrated.. Beautifully written.. 5 stars!!

I've been waiting slightly desperately for this series to continue on.😍 I was so excited to listen to the newest book & what was happening to Wild & Her Crew of friends. I wasn't disappointed. The story picks up the day after graduating the Culling Trials & on the journey to their selected Houses. Wild, of course, is butting proverbial heads with other 'Shades' on her bus.😂 A message goes to the driver to divert to the House Of Wonder. Chaos & mayhem has broken out across the board, did they say explosions???😱💥
This is really well plotted with a fabulous world build. I felt like some more layers were peeled back from certain characters, which was brilliant!👍 There's heart ache & heart break, assassins & serial killers and back stabbing & double crossing.💔😳 We also see some blasts from the past.🙏👻 I did miss some of the hilarious snark from the previous books but it certainly isn't by enough to stop me reading the books because the storyline & characters are still extremely strong.🌟 I'm really looking forward to book #5.🎉

So good!
The story itself is gripping and draws you in, but the performance just adds so much more to it! I found myself recognising the ‘voices’ even before their names were mentioned. Totally recommend!

Shadowspell Academy book 1
Having just made it through the Culling games, they get to find out which house they get to go to, and realising they are going to have to split up. As they travel to their school they find only one academy has not been destroyed killing most students and staff inside. All buses head to Magic academy where the team is able to reunit. Realising the danger has not passed, Wild finds more than one enamy at this school wants to kill her. Read brillianly again by Khrstine Hvam.

Omg !! The end !!😱 I m absolutely loving this serise .. the character s are awesome and it's Jam packed with action and adventure and humour .. if your a fan of Harry potter and hunger games then this serise is for you .enjoy !

Helios??
Ok so to begin with the story is worth five stars!!
The plot and action starts to finally pick up a little more, although it's the last five or so chapters that really start going.
My issue isn't with the book, per se, but actually due to the name change from books one, two and three!!
I'm hoping that lots of others have picked this up, although not those that it should have done.
The reason for the four stars is that book four has deemed it fit to change the surname of "the most prominent family," it seems that the Helix family decided to change their surname to Helios!!
Understand now why my title is "Helios??"
I understand that some times errors are made with lesser characters or places, but this is pretty huge!!
It should have been noticed by any of the following.
Author
Editor
Proof reader
Beta or ARC group
And many of others whose job is solely to ensure these mistakes are rectified, prior to the release of these books.
Again Khristine Hvam is the one who manages to bring those characters to life and she does a great job again!!
I'm really getting into her Texan drawl....that's the right word right?? Sincere apologies if that offends!!....
But again the audio has got that name change in there too. So that is why the story gets four stars!!
It's also why I love being in the Beta/ARC team for authors, as I've always been able to pick up on such things!!
I'd still recommend both book and audio, as the rest of the book/audio are excellent. Just don't grind your teeth each time you read/hear Helios 🤦🤦🙈🙈
