About this listen
What if you could rewrite the past?
Quinn Black is having the worst day ever...over and over again. The same car blocking his driveway, the same horrific accident he witnesses, the same cop that keeps preventing him from saving his boss from dying in it, and the same memory of a girl from his past that gets sharper each time.
Then he realizes he has the power to travel through time and change the future. With infinite opportunities to alter the past, the possibilities are endless. Could he prevent terrorist attacks? Natural disasters? The deaths of friends? Or even go back in time and say the right thing to the girl who haunts his dreams?
Unfortunately, the rules of time travel are more complicated than he imagined, and before long, Quinn is thrust into the greatest race in human history. His actions can either save the world or destroy it. And now the man who could turn back the clock is running out of time.

Quite the adventure
Fast paced, unique characters with personalities all their own, a fun fictionally plausible time travel concept, save the world premise, abrupt ending but satisfying after living the journey with the characters at high speed.

Unique Time Travel - could be better
Awesome take on the ground hog version of time travel. I would have enjoyed this story more if the characters had more depth. All the central characters, even the main protagonist, are a bit one-dimensional. Which is ironic given the multiverse detailed throughout the book. As for world building Huf kept it rather straight forward. However, he missed a chance to have some real fun with creating vastly different Earths. But,I suspect that would have detracted from the central plot. Fair enough!
The narrator whilst having quite an enjoyable voice to listen to, sadly also has a limited range in terms of voice acting.
All of which is, of course, only my personal opinion. Hence why I’ve not given 4-5 stars.
I would very much like Huf to revisit his world and add more depth and colour. It’s quite a fascinating one.

A good listen
I honestly think my head is going to explode trying to process this story’s timelines. At the very least I feel I’m on my way to a theoretical physics degree. Recommended for any time travel geeks out there.

Abrupt ending, too long on a sub plot.
Thid os a good popcorn book you could read on a plane. But this could have been so much more!
the sept-11 sub-plot for all its 'worthyness' takes too much out of the story. I was disappointed that the 'sub' plot took up until the penultimate chapter to resolve. if he had then wrote another 10-15 chapters on the main plot, it would have felt like full story.
I would have loved to have seen redemption, and struggle, those last 57 should have been a countdown, it was a brilliant plot device that limited his power and would normally be a 'second act issue' that would have woven more I to the story.
I loved this concept, it was great to see a guy plucked out of no where, take on this challenge, but he didn't actually learn anything and wasn't changed enough by the story to call it an arc. or at least, if he was, it wasn't obvious at the end.
I am resistant to buy the other two now, especially if this method of tying up the story is used again.

clever story
It starts as a simple story, the main protagonist realises he is in a loop and decides to save his friend. But as he tries to do so, he finds out that things are way more complicated than we thought.

interesting time travel theory, great narrator
Great concept and story plot if you like sci-fi stories about time travel, excellent development of the characters in the book, although the story had patches where it seemed to go nowhere, but it always ended picking up!

Very good, an ambitious book
I liked this book. in parts, it irritated me (mega richness and overly technical descriptions), but well worth listening to.

Enjoyable & quick but....
A very much more complicated version of Groundhog Day - without the humour. For me, the attempt to explain time travel through the science got a bit laborious but other than that a good (albeit short) story.
The plot sped along at pace and at times a quick replay was needed to remind myself where we were. The characters were good although Jeremy grated a little and Scot's Dad, a lot. The twists and turns were good and the conclusion, sound. At the end of a book I like a short wrap up of all the characters but sadly that was missing.
I've probably been a bit too critical. Would I recommend it ? Yes. It deserves a 4. Just.
