Summary

Chicago Racketeers Book Three

So falling in love with three hot guys all at the same time is a lot of fun. Obviously.

Moving in together with all of them? That’s even better. Hot sex every night, with three men who worship the ground you walk on. Trust me, that’s amazing. I’d-probably-give-up-cookies-for-this amazing. And best of all…my men would never make me give up cookies.

But that’s also a lot of personality under one roof. A cocky hockey star, a bossy billionaire, and a doctor who gives off big daddy energy do not all want the same things at the same time. From furniture to what’s for dinner to the future, they all have different needs.

Now I’ve got to figure out how to get these guys all on the same page with me before it all gets pucked up…

Dani, Nathan, Michael, and Crew are back in another steamy, why-choose rom com! No cheating, a guaranteed HEA, and the guys are all about her!

Full of Emotions

This one was full of chaos, mistakes, frustration, learning how to manage being in a poly relationship and consider other people’s feelings, it was pushing boundaries, finding balance, figuring out everyone’s emotions and place in the relationship. It was learning to be open and honest, and respecting everyone’s feelings. It was about coming together, loving hard and being a family.

The full cast narration did a phenomenal job yet again.

Continuing a great series

I have really been enjoying this series in audio! Over these first three books I have become one hundred percent invested in this found family. It’s nice to get an insight into the complexities of a poly relationship when the MMCs have such vastly different personalities and are at different stages of their lives. The characters have grown on me and in this storyline and I can’t wait to find out how their story continues with the possibility of another addition!

Listening to this on audio was such a fun experience. Duet style is my favorite style, but when you add in such a talented full cast of narrators, it just elevates the entertainment factor. The banter and fun scenes just hit different when the narrators put so much emotion into their performances and this is a prime example of that.

4.5 Stars!

Dani, Nathan, Michael, and Crew are back in another steamy, why-choose rom-com with book three in the Chicago Racketeers series, Seriously Pucked. This book explores the ramifications and complications of relationships beyond the initial honeymoon phase. Here, we see Dani and the guys (Cookie and Co) moving in together, permanently. Such a big move is already a lot with one partner, but having 4 people in a relationship makes it even more difficult. This new change is harder to adjust for some, and learning how to compromise is becoming increasingly difficult for Nathan. Meanwhile, Michael is having a lot of thoughts about taking his relationship with Dani to the next level. As for Crew, he is working to focus on his game. When multiple tragedies strike at once, it pulls each of them in different directions. This all forces them to navigate where they want their relationship to go and to have some difficult conversations.

The books in this series keep hitting! I really am loving getting to know these characters intimately as they navigate the different sides of being in a ploy relationship, from the good to the not-so-good. Although the guys are initially all focused on Dani as a partner (as they are only dating Dani and not each other), they soon realise that they need to be thinking and considering the other guys as well, and how important it is for them all to figure out what they all want in the relationship and come together and compromise in order to get their HEA. Of course, on the way to the HEA, there are ups, and there are downs. But can they learn to develop deeper relationships with each other and navigate in this new relationship they have all embarked on? From family emergencies to dreaded work parties, the story is a perfect mix of heart and emotion, fun/banter, and of course, heat. I really enjoyed it and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

Again, the narration (just like the previous 2 books) is excellent! Featuring a full-cast narration, this time performed by Penelope Rose, Sebastian York, Royce St. Cloud, Zachary Johnson, A.M. Elizabeth Kay, Victor Quixabas, Aryann Michele, and Robert Hatchet, all the narrators brought every moment to life. They brought emotion and levity, as well as fun to their performance. I loved it!

It's not always fun and games <3<3<3

I think this is my favourite in the Chicago Racketeers series so far. Dani, Nathan, Crews and Michael are moving quickly from one milestone to the other in their relationship. Now that they are getting more settled, things are starting to change. Moving in together officially brings out previously unexpressed feelings and desires, and now the group needs to figure out how to move forward when not everyone is on the same page, or at the same point in their life goals. I really like how this story goes deeper than the previous 2 when it felt like they were still in the honeymoon phase. Real problems and difficult life choices arise which makes this story more relatable to me. As with the last 2 books, the narration is great. I'm still really enjoying the multicast and the character choices for performances have been very consistent and throughout the series making it an effortless transition.

Seriously Pucked: Chicago Racketeers Book 3

🎧🎧AUDIOBOOK REVIEW🎧🎧

Seriously Pucked is the point in the journey of these four people when life gets real! Where the shinny new object doesn’t shine all that brightly all of the time. Where the outside world is not so easily ignored. Where their relationship gets tested. Getting to experience their journey back-to-back enhanced my experience with the story and I am overjoyed I got to experience it this way. I’m not exactly sure what the time frame was between books when this series/serial was first released, but if the timeframe wasn’t short, I feel for past readers. LOL My experience was enhanced because not only is the story highly entertaining, but no matter what happens, these four are in it and that just makes my heart want to burst. Also, I kinda didn’t want to leave this world, so there’s that! :)

✔️ We got the get to know you and see where this goes in Puck One Night Stands.
✔️ We got the meet the parents in Four Pucking Christmases.
✔️ And now we get the good, bad and in between of a relationship involving more than two people once the dust has settled from the nothing matters but this great sex we’re all taking part in (lol) in Seriously Pucked.

I am so ridiculously in love with this entire story! This is the book that has solidified Emma Foxx as a one-click author for me. She continued the journey of four people into territory that would test the bond they so quickly formed without ever steering the story into overly dramatic behavior and unrealistic dramatics for drama’s sake! How fantastic is that?! For almost 8 hours I kept waiting for that proverbial shoe to drop, that too many authors love to drop, but it never really came. #winning

🎧 NARRATION: YES, these narrators are still doing a phenomenal job bringing this story to life! So much so, that I now don’t think this serial should be experienced any other way!! Also, Penelope STILL gets 10 stars! :)

Seriously Pucked

3🌶️🌶️🌶️

Seriously Pucked is the third book in the Chicago Racketeers series. Dani, Nathan, Crew, and Michael are back. In this book we get to see real life crash into their love bubble. Moving in definitely changes everything. Will these four work it out and come out the other side stronger? I love that we get even more of their love stories.

The narration is still amazing. This full cast of narrators did a fantastic job narrating in duet style narration.

Dani and Her Men!

Dani’s decision to move in with Crew, Nathan and Michael has both its challenges and its celebrations as they try to maintain the one-on-one relationships that Dani shares with each of them as well as the group relationship. This is only compounded when Dani finds herself torn between supporting Michael when he is going through a difficult family time and being there when she believes that Crew needs her.

I enjoyed seeing the relationship between the three men deepen as well as their relationships with Dani. Between the take charge personality of Nathan, the caregiver in Michael and the fun-loving Crew they each bring something different to the relationship.

The cast of narrators allows each character to have their own personality their performance is flawless, and the time will fly as the story unfolds.
