About this listen
I'm the first-born son of the mafia king. The favorite. Destined to rule, I'm a dangerous man, a ruthless one. But in my world, you have to be.
Then Natalie stumbles into my life. Wrong place. Wrong time.
Twice, fate put her in my path.
Twice, fate placed the innocent lamb at the mercy of the monster.
I gave her a chance to walk away. Told her it would be better for her if she did.
But she didn't listen.
And now it's too late.
Because I'm not good. I never wanted to be. And I won't let her go anymore. See, I'm not the hero. When I touch her, it's with dirty hands.
I know my reckoning is coming though. I know I'll burn for the things I've done, the sins I've committed. And I don't deny hell is where I belong, but I want my time first. I want my time with her.
She's mine.
Forever.
No matter what.
Author's Note: Sergio: A Dark Mafia Romance is an intensely emotional, steamy and dark standalone romance set in the Benedetti Brothers Mafia world. Be prepared: This is not a traditional romance.

Great story
Holy macaroni this is one heck of a good listen. I had no clue what to expect from this one and I was not disappointed. This is like no other mafia book I have listened or read. Sergio is the first born son so will rule one day. He meets Natalie when she is very young and saves her life then years later they meet again and the spark is intense. I just adored this story and how they fell in love even when it was not your normal romance it was very dark. This was my first Natasha Knight book but for sure not my last I need to listen to the first 2 books in the series now. Tracy Marks never fails to draw me into a story she is just brilliant I love her voice. This is my first Michael Pauley I have wanted to listen to him for ages and I am so glad this was my first he was just WOW so intense he got my heart racing so fast he acts his butt off he is just magic. I enjoyed this book so much it was so different I am so glad I got the chance to listen.

WHOA!!
This was a quick but heartwrenching listen. Tracy Marks is one of my favorite narrators, and listening to her and Michael Pauley is quite a treat. They do a great job and bring the story the depth needed to capture your imagination and wrench every feeling from your heart. This is quite a book, and holy moly. . . the tears. the emotions.. it's not for everyone. But it is worth it. Quite an ugly cry listen.

Intense!
Intense, powerful, dark, sexy; all these adjectives apply to this fantastic listen. Narrating a strong, heart stopping story, Michael Pauley and Tracey Marks are excellent as Sergio and Natalie, bringing both characters to life with great skill. This is an audio which lingers in your mind long after you have finished it!. All round 5, intense stars.

Sergio
Such a heartbreaking book. You get a warning from a letter written by the author and you really need to listen to what she’s saying. Even though you will be crying through a good bit of this book, it is still worth the listen to hear Sergio’s story.

All the Feels!
I'm crying! This book! OMG this book!
Sergio is the Heir to the Benedetti mafia family. He has a dark destiny. Natalie has been at the wrong place at the wrong time more times than is normal. Both times Sergio has been her savior, but who will save her from him? His darkness? His life. For his life and hers if she is to join him would be a dangerous and dark one. This book contains dark scenes and steamy scenes. It also does NOT contain a HEA so read at your own risk.

Highly emotional dark romance
Loved this highly emotional dark romance. Compelling and complex characters and an intense story. As the blurb says, not a normal romance, but still definitely worth listening to. Fantastic narrators! Two of my favorite narrators together bringing this fantastic story to life. I received a free review copy of this audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

A Sad & Beautiful Story! 4.5 Heart-Wrenching Stars
This is a well written, well told “Dark Mafia Romance”. Natasha Knight gives warning, this is not a traditional romance book and it will be upsetting to some. And yes, I am upset, but not with the author but with myself. I knew going in it was not an HEA, yet had to know Sergio’s story. The book grabbed my attention from the start and captivated me until the very end. Sergio’s story is a heartbreaking one but so worth knowing. Great character development, I loved the chemistry between Sergio and Natalie. I loved her braveness and strength too. Their story is not a pretty one but it sure is an interesting one. Natasha Knight, thank you for this great read and taking us in to the mafia world. It is a story to be remembered.
I listened to the Audible edition. The narrators, Micael Pauley and Tracy Marks, are awesome. They perform well together and each gives a great performance with the right amount of dramatic flair to enhance the story even more. They bring the characters to life from the pages to your ears. Thank you for the great listen!

An emotional mafia romance
Sergio is book 3 of the Benedetti Brothers series. It tells the love story of Sergio and Natalie. This book was released after Salvatore and Dominic (books 1 & 2), but it actually takes place 2-3 years before Salvatore. Sergio and Natalie initially meet when she is 14 y/o, but Sergio doesn’t remember meeting Natalie when their paths cross again 6 Years later. The relationship between Natalie and Sergio develops and becomes serious pretty quickly. Their story is told in dual POVs and the narrators do a great job of performing this powerful love story. Michael Pauley was especially intense when reading Sergio’s chapters. I did not read any of the other books in this series (yet), so I was surprised by the ending. This is one of those rare instances where I am glad I read a book out of order of its placement in the series because I had no clue how it would end. Sergio is an amazingly emotional and powerful book that is going to stay with me for a long time to come.
