After more than a decade-long struggle with emotional eating, depression, and low self-esteem, I realized that the reason I couldn't be happy like the people I envied was that I didn't love myself.
For me, developing self-love has been profoundly healing. I can hardly believe how effortless it has been for me to quit overeating, exercise daily, attract a loving relationship, and have the career of my dreams.
Nowadays, people come to me for counseling, convinced that they're hopeless. There's no way they can learn how to unconditionally love themselves! wonderful
I absolutely love this book; as a therapist myself, I recommend this book to many of my clients who fall in love with it as well, and find it extremely empowering. I like to use it in conjunction with their therapy sessions and it has been a tremendous aid thus far to help those with anxiety, depression and low confidence levels. I will continue to recommend this book.

Thanks for the reminders
I've both read and listened to the book and it keeps being a great reminder for me. I own multiple businesses and to win in business you need to practice self love to become a greater version of yourself and boost all areas of life and relationships. If you're looking to start practicing and boosting your self love (how cheesy that may sound) this book is a great start.

some tips really resonated with me
This is not a standalone book, but if you're already familiar with the concept of self-love and need a good boost of inspiration to start (again) taking better care of yourself I can highly recommend to listen to the ideas in this audiobook and pick the ones that resonate with you. Some of the tips are basic, others I hadn't come across before, but all of them have a low threshold to actually put them in practice (as opposed to some self-help books I've read where the gap between where you are and the author wants you to be is just to big).
