Very useful in itself, and for inclusivity awareness
This was exactly the book I was looking for - and more. I had been trying many neurotypical methods for improvement and productivity but there were always ways in which they didn’t work. After my self-diagnosis, I know why: Any such system must be designed to work specifically with the challenges faced by a neurodiverse person.
Dr Neff describes the wide range of ways the autistic mind works and needs accommodation, Not all of these might apply to you, or, might apply strongly/weakly. But by having it all described, even though some of it didn’t apply to me, I came away from the book with a far greater understanding of autism. This gives me a more compassionate, inclusive appreciation of how I can be more accommodating towards neurodivergent people.
The narration and production was superb; the perfect voice for the topic and text.
