Summary
When a second chance turns into something much more....
Piper Happ’s dead-end life turns into the ultimate nightmare when her roommate and upstairs neighbor are both murdered.
To further complicate things, Piper’s former best friend Nicolas is back in town. Wow, really pulls you in and im glad the loose ends were tied up at the end. Gripping yet so sublte at times. Well worth it.

Everyone needs a second chance
Wow : R.M. Demeester wrote a story full of twists and turns. : R.M. Demeester wrote a story with suspense and that will have you at the edge of your seat .
Heroine is Piper. Hero is Nick
Piper is wondering what happened to Nick. He was acting not like himself. Piper is wondering if Nick deserves a second chance. She gives in and gives him one , but you will a huge shock with the cliffhanger, you get hints but RM the author will get you with the ending Grab it and get hooked
Ri Paige performance is good first time I listened to her . Her voice is smooth and clear

Mystery
We have danger, murders, secrets, and twists and turns.
Pipers' neighbour and roommate are found dead/murdered. She looses out out on a promotion and then an old crush reappears, who ghosted her years ago. They decide to have a second go at their relationship . Piper came across as winy and Nicolas came off as odd.
