Sweet summer loving!

Seaside Hearts is the second book in the Seaside Summers series and I loved it as much as the first. Jenna has wanted Pete for years but when she is near him she gets shy and awkward and she fumbles. As far as she is concerned, she is not his type and he is totally not interested in her. Pete, however, is interested, but he has a complicated home life; his father is an alcoholic and his time is taken up taking care of him and trying to prevent his addiction from being exposed. Jenna decides it is time to give up on her dream of Pete and try moving her attention to other men, but seeing Jenna flirting and with another man makes Pete realise that he has to make a decision. Does he follow his heart or risk losing Jenna forever?

I loved Jenna and Pete's story. Both had complicated situations and issues to deal with. It was great to see Jenna come out of her shell and be the confident gorgeous woman she was. My heart melted for Pete, he was such a sweetheart. But he was also a hot, sexy alpha and when he saw Jenna with another man, his protective instincts kicked in and he knew she was his. The chemistry between the two was off the charts and the love scenes hot. The relationship was well developed and they were an awesome couple.

Seaside Hearts was a great addition to the series and another fab read from Melissa Foster. She is go-to author for me. I've not read a series of hers that I have not loved.


I was so happy to hear that B.J Harrison was narrating this book. He has a great ability to make the story and the characters come alive. He did an amazing job and I hope he narrates the next book in the series too!

True love saves the day

Jenna has loved Pete Lacroux from afar for years and this year she decided to give up on him and date other people. Pete who is having family problems has always loved Jenna but felt he didn't deserve her gets totally jealous when Jenna starts dating. What ensues is funny and emotional with them ending up together only to have Pete family problems impact on their relationship. Love this book and Jennas OCD.

Seaside Hearts (audible version) by Melissa Foster

I have previously read this book and thoroughly enjoyed it as I do with all of Melissa's books. They are funny, romantic and at part very steamy!!!

The audible book is an excellent idea especially if you want to just pop your earphones in and relax.

Another good listen

Would you consider the audio edition of Seaside Hearts to be better than the print version?

I was always wary of an audio book, but not i have listened to 3 books now I really enjoy then, I am a big fan of the seaside girls and love Jenna and Pete. They go so well together, her with having to have everything colour coded size ordered. Pete happy to let her do it. They took a long time getting together thinking each other only wanted to be friends. They sizzle together. Add in Jenna's mom and Pete's dad there are many hurdles to overcome. But with the help of the seaside girls we have another entertaining story

His ability to make the girls come alive

Awesome read!! Loved Jenna and Pete

It has well developed characters and tons of emotion with an amazing family feel to it, Melissa Foster writes stories that make you want to be part of them and once you jump into this story you won't want to come out until your all finished with sexy Pete and sweet Jenna

Yes, i didn't want to turn it off and come away from it!! Love the different voices B.J. Harrison uses for all the characters

The story of Jenna and Pete is absolutely one of my favourites. Jenna is completely in-love with Pete and when she's around him she doesn’t act like she has herself together, she acts all shy and silly while Pete has his hands full with his dad who has turned to drink after Pete's Mom's death.
The love story of Jenna and Pete is entertaining and very engrossing that you kept you turning the pages until the end

A perfect escape to the Cape

I loved this!

I love a story that is in a series and you get the chance to get to know the characters through several books, and the the Seaside girls feel like your friends as you read / listen to their stories.

Jenna and Pete's story makes you smile, laugh and want to bang their heads together! They are so cute together and both have things with their parents to figure out as well as their feeling for each other.

B J Harrison narrates this beautifully, I love his voice.

I loved this story and can't wait to catch up with them again as they pop in the other Seaside books.
