About this listen

The world's most renowned vulcanologist mysteriously disappears after a lecture on geophysical catastrophes. Two policemen are found brutally executed on the steps of London's nearby Albert Hall. Then, Mount St Helen's suddenly and inexplicably erupts in Washington State, leaving a wake of death and destruction.

The new, liberal administration in the White House ignores these apparent coincidences, but the retired Admiral Morgan, former National Security Adviser to the President, and Lt. Jimmy Ramshawe are shocked into action. Only a missile, launched from a nuclear submarine, could have had the power to blow up the volcano. Is this the fabled HAMAS terrorist, Major Ray Kerman, at work again?

Almost impossible to break off from the fast paced action. The whole story has an air of plausibility about it, perhaps not so much as the scenes in the White House, but certainly the threat of the volcano and the Hamas activity. God forbid they ever get their hands on such a weapon as a nuclear boat....
Thoroughly enjoyable, heartily recommend .

excellent plot and conception let's hope it will never happen but in today's world who knows???

nearly true

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.

A rollicking military tale, that did not ignore the impact on civilians of such a disaster nor the efforts to safeguard national treasures. Some parts a little far fetched (esp the departure of an incumbent president and the ease with which a retired high ranker slipped straight back into his former life. This book has been published for a while now, hence no stupid wokery to ruin the story!!

WELL PACED NAVAL DRAME
