About this listen
Perfect for fans of James Patterson and Karin Slaughter, this is the second gripping instalment of the Sacramento series from Sunday Times best seller Karen Rose. An explosive crime thriller, Say No More will keep you hooked until the final second.
If they ever catch you, say nothing. Admit nothing. Never tell.
Mercy Callahan never thought she'd be able to talk about her past. When she arrives in Sacramento to make peace with her brother, Gideon, and to help find the brutal cult that took away her childhood, she is finally ready to talk. But when Ephraim Burton - the man who made her life a living hell - follows her there, she realises she might never be safe.
Rafe Sokolov would do anything to have Mercy back in his life and would go to any length to protect her.
But when it becomes apparent that Ephraim is more determined than ever to get Mercy back, even Rafe might not be able to stop the trail of destruction he leaves in his wake. As Ephraim draws near, it's clear it's not just Mercy who is in danger; those closest to her are firmly in his sights.
Will Mercy sacrifice herself to help bring Ephraim down? Or will he finally get what he's always wanted?

Good
I mostly enjoyed these books, I had to make an effort to blot my dislike of the narration out which took some doing. The porn was to my mind surplus to requirements.

worst narrator
I really do not understand how this narrator got chosen after bad reviews of previous book. His voice grates, sounds robotic, he gives people weird voices.
The story was OK, not brilliant, though.

Lots of familiar characters
I love Karen's books. They are always gripping, totally suck me in. The only gripe I have is that in every book there is a central 'couple' which generally leads to a happy ending for said couple. It would be an interesting change to have the hero/heroine be happy just by themselves. However, that really is minor, and I recommend these books to all. Can't wait for the next one.

just another brilliant Karen Rose book that is well worth the read! I love how you get to follow different characters mentioned in previous books and how they all tie together

Very 'Chocolate Box' ending
I enjoy Karen Rose's books and love the way characters are intermingled between books and series.
In this one Tom Hunter and Liza turn up. It follows almost directly on from 'Say you're Sorry', book 1 in the Sacraments series.
Gideon and Mercy pursue leads to find the whereabouts of the Eden cult and its secrets. But others are out to stop them.
I have only given it 4 ☆s because of the very Chocolate Box epilogue that was not really necessary and the annoying narration.

The same awful narrator!
I was literally ecstatic about this release and it’s by the same narrator as Say You’re Sorry. With all the negative reviews regarding him, I physically can not believe he was chosen to do this book too.
Yet another Karen Rose novel ruined by the choice of narrator. I love both Male and female narrators but this gent doesn’t work at all and most of the time I end up cringing or can’t finish the book.
I’ll now purchase the hard copy and read it for myself. I’m really disappointed.
On another note Karen’s books are incredible and I can listen to them multiple times and not get bored. Another fantastic book to add the ever growing collection.

Really enjoyed it
Really enjoying this series will definitely be listening to the next one when it’s released.
My only issue with it was the long unneeded love scenes, the mystery was far too interesting for me to have to listen to all of that before getting back to the actual story line.
