About this listen
Love doesn't hurt. Expectations do.
Those words were scribbled on the outside of her English binder, but I knew even then that they may as well have been tattooed on the fragments of her heart.
My girl was broken, damaged, and yet I loved her. Foolishly, I'd thought I'd be able to banish her darkness, but I'd only chased it away for a few moments in the sun.
I was too damn young to understand the demons she was fighting. But I'd soon be faced with my own darkness.
Instead of me healing her, she would break me.

Love it!
Salvage, the third book in the Savages and Saints series is fabulously written, scorching HOT, and utterly engaging second romance. I was wholly riveted by Damon and Lorelei's story from the very first word right to the last. The heartbreaking prologue set the premises to an incredibly composed and compelling storyline. Salvage is told from dual POV, it's steamy, suspenseful with unexpected twists and turns, it kept me on the edge of my seat.
An outstanding performance by Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. Both narrators captured the nuances of the characters, emotions, and intensity of the scenes, breathing life into the story. I loved everything about this book, particularly the characters. I highly recommend this audiobook.

Love this family!
This is the 3rd book in this series but can be read as a standalone. I love this family.
Lorelei and Damon are a young couple but Lorelei has to leave town to save herself. 10 years later she has to come back to save her son. Damon finds her and helps her in the process. This was an action packed story that I couldn’t quit listening to. Again the narrators sound great as these characters. I am loving this series.

Loved it
Damon is trying to put things right after his mistakes caused lorelei to run, she's presumed dead after the boat she took was found destroyed. Farkas is lorelei stepfather and his evil plans led to her running. Damon can't forget her and is constantly searching. Loving this series & can't wait for Abbott's book.

Angsty but good
Another angsty entry into this series, this one follows Damon and Lorelei. The story was hinted to in the past stories in this series but really, the romance can be a standalone. This is a second-chance romance where Lorelei left Damon years ago but he finds her again and she's in a very bad place. He's a policeman and there's a fair bit of action as Damon tries to help Lorelei. There are a couple of twists and overall, this story kept me really intrigued.
I listened to the audiobook and it was narrated by the same team that narrated the first 2 books in this series, Gunnar Qualen and Jenna St. Claire. As with the other books, both did great jobs playing the multiple characters. I loved the duet type of reading and together, they really brought the story to life.
