Summary
At first, it seemed like a massive social media-based prank to cause panic on the streets. Now, fake news has become real news. The dead are rising and attacking the living. They're spreading like a plague infecting every village, town and city.
Most countries have already fallen silent, and today will be the longest day of Andy Beck's life. Will he be able to stave off the reanimation virus from his nation's shores? Can he stop society from descending into anarchy as it has elsewhere?
The planet is in meltdown. The pressure is on. The countdown has begun, and only one thing is for sure: This is doomsday.

Absolutely riveting
I loved this book, and found it absolutely riveting, and finished it in one sitting. A fast paced, action packed read, with surprising plot twists that had me wanting to re-read the entire series to relive the adventure and spend more time with my favourite characters. This was an eye opening look at the events and motivations of the characters at the start of the catastrophe. I really enjoyed the characters and hope there will be more to come. Amazing narration by Kim Bretton as always. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Wasn’t expecting !!!
This is the first time ever which i start with the Narrator first, Kim Bretton is an amazing one of a kind narrator, totally understandable fast reader and excellent different voices for each of the characters and she also makes you feel it all, the fear the anticipations and the rest of the feeling which the author wanted to relay truly an amazing job !
Now the Author Christopher Artinian a great writer, so much different then others, his writing make you feel the story was written for you just like you are there watching it all happening, every character is spot on, professional is for sure.
A beautiful masterpiece !
Absolutely without a doubt this creation is fully recommended.

Better than last two books and quite a new angle
I did enjoy this. I also did smile on how the UK Prime Minister is such an awesome guy, and struggle to see any link to how maybe Boris would handle things. . .
Without a spoiler, the bit on how the Apache picks up a passenger, this is quite rare and to fly the person from the pickup to location is quite extreme, in that the passenger sits outside, but I guess if thats the last hope, then you grin and bear it!
Last, when will the speaker learn to say Room, ie with two o's and not Rum . .. :-)

A realistic view on how it all started. As aways brilliant
Bit of a slow burner this one but as good as them all. Once you are hooked by The End Of Everything and Safe Haven you are dying to see how it all began. Now we know! Or do we? Hints here and hints there about people in the other series. As always narration by Kim Bretton amazing. Once again five stars. You just cannot go wrong with this author.

A Disappointment !
Book 7 left me hanging and I expected this book to follow the plot of the previous books of the series however it did not - it should have been book 1 !!!! it was therefore a big disappointment even though it was a reasonable read.

A Superb Listen!
Just when you think the Safe Haven series doesn't get better, it does. Christopher Artinian is one talented author with genius and chilling storylines and incredible characters. Doomsday, delivered in the best way possible! It's well-plotted, brilliantly written, hair-raising horrific, the edge of the seat exciting, and unpredictable. Once again, characters development was spot on with well-rounded and diverse personalities. The emotions, the reactions were authentic, fitting the situations characters found themselves in.
Kim Bretton's narration was outstanding. She captured the characters' distinct personalities, injecting the emotions and intensity found in the pages. She made the book come to life. Doomsday is a must-listen, one I'm highly recommending.
