About this listen

The thrilling conclusion to The Gam3 prequel trilogy!

After failing to take down the United World Government, Alan is a wanted fugitive on Earth. With nowhere else to go, he leads the Black Rose guild into the Abyss Labyrinth. But hidden agendas thrive within the mercenary guild, and Alan soon discovers larger forces at play.

The Game is a war for survival, and a solo victory is virtually impossible - Alan needs to pick a side. But what does winning even mean in the Game? Will Alan be just another sacrificial pawn, or can he find a path to success?

Note from the author: The Gam3 will be on an indefinite hiatus while a new story is in the works; but more stories with Alan are definitely in the future!

5 Stars - Just

I love these books. The full series was awesome.

I honestly felt it was rushed towards the end, Clearly a deadline or something was coming up and it needed to end. Everything just happened in the last chapter. Dont get me wrong i enjoyed every second of it, just felt it could have gone on a bit more.

There was not much info about earth and the fall out, i would have liked to have known more about that.

I feel another hour or so could have really finished this story off.

Maybe a new series from another character's point of view could be a good way to finish things off.

Great stuff.

Excellent right until the ending

Amazing book thoroughly enjoyed it right up until the final 10 minutes that ruined the entire series. I can see where the whole idea come from with the whole blade runner/matrix influences, but it wasn’t needed on this, the book was already outstanding without trying to make it better with a massive twist like that. Also felt like it ended abruptly, with so many questions unanswered. Feels like the author was looking for a quick way out to end the book. Maybe he ran out of steam with it. Shame as it could have been so great. It would have been all round 5 stars if I wasn’t left feeling unsatisfied. Like as if the entire build up of the series all amounted to nothing. That’s just an opinion tho, and you may love the ending. Besides my thoughts on the plot, the book is thoroughly written and well throughout otherwise. Still 5 star for imagination and attention to finite detail.

The narrator is awesome and the ending is so amazingly existential it seems almost uncomprehensable but also understandable, awesome book love the series. I woukd recommend.

My kind of book

The attachment to the characters continues even though they are in a sim. Cleverly done and the story is plays out nicely. The meta - meta story is wonderful. An exception - that is what you said last time.
