About this listen
Everyone has something to hide.
Thea
I was invisible until I wasn’t.
One mistyped number became the catalyst to my hell on earth when I accidentally sent a risqué photo to the blackmail king of Silver Lake High. Now Connor Bishop holds it as a bargaining chip over my head. I’ve become his doll, at his mercy in a corrupt castle.
Better do as he says or else, or else, or else....
His thumb is on the send button every time I try to buck his command. Can I survive a private photo going viral instead of living this life of torment?
It’s not right. Maybe it’s time his castle burns down.
Some lies are more dangerous than others.
Connor
Meek. Shy. Wholesome.
Thea Kennedy was picture-perfect innocence until she wasn’t. The unexpected photo is the juiciest secret to land in my lap in a while. Who knew she was hiding luscious curves under frumpy sweaters?
With one racy selfie, Thea stepped into my world, where I control the board. I’ll trap the little mouse and won’t let her escape the depraved kingdom I built.
But there are darker monsters than me lurking in the shadows. They want to take a bite out of my little mouse. I don’t like sharing what’s mine.

A great addition to the Saints and Sinners series
I enjoyed listening to the audiobook review of Ruthless Bishop. The bullying was not as bad as some of the other books in this series but still, this is not a book for those that dislike the genre.
Thea is a wonderfully sweet but naive woman and Connor/ Bishop is the bullying but damaged male protagonist. They are oil and water but there is, right from the start, a draw that they do not want to feel.
I thought that the story arc was a good one and actually contained an important warning.
Violet Strong and Michael Gallagher did an exceptional job with narrating Ruthless Bishop. The characters came to life under their care. Their voice acting had me completely in the grip of the story.

Intense!
Connor doesn't have the best morals and isn't always the nicest guy but he sure does make for an exciting character. I love Connor and Thea's story which grabbed my attention near the beginning at the accidental sexting all the way until the end. This is what I would call a light bully romance/romantic suspense. It dealt with some heavy topics including online predators, stalking, internet security and blackmail. This has been a captivating series that I highly recommend. I love how Violet Strong and Michael Gallagher brought this story to life with their duet narration.

The girl next door
Bishop is ruthless. He bullies the girl next door. Gets secrets from everyone to blackmail them. And he is only in highschool. When he receives a nude pic by mistake, that girl better hold on to her panties... a romance that stars with blackmail, a sweet girl with a secret and a guy who doesn’t believe in fairy tales. Would she teach him to be better? His skills used for good? I enjoyed the book, every chapter. And the voices were on point, they sounded young and full of life.

Good series
I'm loving these Sinners and Saints stories, I wanted to read so much about Bishop, such an intriguing character, and Thea well I think it was a perfect match. They both have their moment, they definitely needed each other but their road wasn't an easy one. Thea being the shy quiet girl taming one of the Kings was entertaining to see. Connor is not a prince charming, he loves having the upper hand, and having something that Thea wants is his ace to get to her. I can't wait to see what comes in the next story. The narration by Violet Strong and Micheal Gallagher was quite good and would recommend getting the audiobook.

Ruthless Bishop
By Veronica Eden
Book 3 in the Sinners and Saints series
Narrators: Violet Strong and Michael Gallagher
4/15/21 to 04/17/21
This is a awesome series and each book is distinct in what the characters are going through. Thea is quite shy or is she? The great wide web can be a great place to meet some folks but there are predators there as well. Veronica Eden wrote a suspenseful story that deals with this topic and it kept me wanting to see what would happen, even knowing who that predator was did not diminish the suspense. Surprisingly there wasn’t as much angst between Connor and Thea as in the other books but it was still full of twists and turns that will be eye opening. Veronica writes realistic situations and this book showcases how we deal with very real issues like dysfunctional family life and not realizing what can happen when we are online and of course how when we’re young that there are cliches that try and define who we are yet Thea shows Connor that he doesn’t need to be mean. Connor’s growth is shown as his relationship with Thea continues and we get a HEA. Can’t wait for the next book.
Michael Gallagher showcased Connor’s ruthlessness and also showed his caring and willingness to create a better place for himself.
Violet Strong really came across brilliantly as the shy yet blooming Thea with all of the emotions that helped pull me into this book.
Amazing choice of narrators by Pink Flamingo Productions.

Amazing I’ve listened to the first 2 and they are great but absolutely loved this book. The story is so good as are Thea and Connor it was great that characters from previous books are also in it .

Both romantic and exciting!
Combining a romance with a darker twist, can be difficult to balance to achieve, but Veronica Eden succeeds in this book/audio. With the story of Bishop and Thea we have one confident and one much shyer individual whose paths are destined to cross. This was a less angsty story than the previous one, with Bishop showing his good guy credentials quite early. His skills, combined with the growth of his feelings, definitely bring out his protective instincts.
Violet Strong and Michael Gallagher are excellent as narrators. They bring out the sincerity and warmth inherent to both characters while supporting the pace and plotline so very well. 💖💖💖💖💖

Very addictive.
I received this audiobook via a promo code at my request from Audiobook Obsession and this is my voluntary review.
This is book 3 in the Veronica Eden Sinners & Saints series featuring two of the side characters from the previous book, Connor and Thea which is fun because it runs parallel to the last story so you get to see some of the same events where Devlin tormented Blair from a different perspective.
I LOVED Thea, she was this awesome lil badass with a strict mom who accidentally sent a naughty picture to the wrong guy. Sexting sexy selfies isnt really a thing I'd personally do but Thea made an even bigger problem for herself when the guy in question turns out to be the town superhacker bad boy next door.
Son of the Principal Connor loves computers, he loves the digital age where everyone might appear to have this shy reserved goodie goodie act but the web gives him access to their deepest secrets and he loves he can use those things to control the world around him. Ridgeview is his playground.
At first he doesnt know who the hot girl in the picture is, he just knows he loves what he sees and when he discovers its the nerdy girl next door hiding that body under all those unflattering sweaters, he keeps the texting going so he can have his fun & settle a score against her meddling mother. Before long, Thea is horrified at the error and becomes blackmailed to play his girlfiend when his mother demands he play the role of doting son with a future for her election campaign.
Inevitably, the hot lil nerd has won him over, and he wants her for real..but hes not the only one who wants her, and one of those secrets she kept online might just have found her too.
While the first book in the series didn't leave me with much of a good impression, Veronica's work here definitely hints at a bigger mystery in the underbelly of Ridgeview so much I'm skipping waiting for the audioversion of book4 and diving right in to Savage Wilder!
