Summary
Claire and Hugo are two attractive medical professionals working in a hospital surgical unit. Riveting!
I just finished listening and I was hooked from start to finish. The book follows Claire, a skilled surgeon who has a crush on her handsome boss, Hugo. But things get messy because Hugo is married and also has a mistress. Plus, Claire has a boyfriend. The story is full of love, lust, and lies, leading to a big showdown in a hotel room where 'room service' means a lot more than just food. The ending is shocking and left me surprised. The characters feel real and the plot kept me guessing. Some parts were a bit unrealistic, but overall, it was exciting and fun to read. This is perfect for anyone who loves a good romance filled with drama and suspense. I highly recommend it!

Whew! This book dives headfirst into the messy world of infidelity. Claire's choices are frustrating at times, but the narrator does a good job of portraying her inner turmoil. Be warned, things get pretty steamy in the second half, so this might not be suitable for everyone. Overall, an interesting exploration of forbidden love .If you enjoy audiobooks with workplace drama and a good dose of steam, this is a hot listen!

Quite captivating
In this book you follow Claire, a dedicated and talented surgeon, whose infatuation with her charismatic boss, Hugo, grows more complicated with each passing day. Hugo is not only married but also entangled in an affair with another woman, adding layers of tension and moral ambiguity to the narrative. Claire herself is in a committed relationship, which only intensifies the inner conflict she faces. The only reason I didn't rate it all 5 stars is because I found some scenes to be unrealistic.

Can a Surgeon's Heart Handle Love and Duty?
Whew, this book had me at the edge of my seat! It follows this surgeon who gets all tangled up in a love triangle with her boss. It’s got all the drama, the temptation, and the moral dilemmas. I mean, you know how it goes. Sometimes, love can be a real mess.
There were a couple of parts where I felt like the plot was a bit predictable, but overall, it was a really engaging read. If you’re into stories about forbidden love and the sacrifices people make for their careers, you’ll definitely want to check this one out.

The many different twists and turns
An enjoyable listen, that teaches loyalty is a must and dishonesty doesn't reap the expected rewards. The characters are well thought out and each have grounding that brings them to life, thank you
