Best intro audio course I've found for Romanian
If you could sum up Romanian Crash Course in three words, what would they be?
Efficient, relevant, good value.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Romanian Crash Course?
not applicable.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Not enough time is allowed from giving the English phrase for you to try to anticipate the Romanian translation. Such anticipation is much better for developing your memory of the foreign phrase than merely hearing the Romanian phrase. The "Learn in Your Car" and Pimsleur materials do this much better. If there is ever a re-issue, longer pauses should be put in. Pimsleur (which is, however, much more expensive) also has much more repetition, which is also good for committing to memory. And a minor gripe: the materials assume that only US English is relevant; mostly this doesn't matter but international listeners need to be alert to the places where US usage is eccentric.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
not applicable
Any additional comments?
I have no idea what the previous reviewer is referring to. At least on the Android version, there are perfectly good chapter divisions, so you can go straight to any chapter you like. The only hitch is that the audio has to be playing already when you select the chapter, otherwise nothing seems to happen (at least on my machine).

NO CHAPTERS= NO GOOD.
What disappointed you about Romanian Crash Course?
There's just one long audio track. Unless you're a genius you'll find it difficult to skip back and replay parts.
Has Romanian Crash Course put you off other books in this genre?
No, just made them a lot better by comparison.
What didn’t you like about LANGUAGE/30’s performance?
It defeats learning a language by assuming everyone can withhold the vocabulary and pronunciation contained in a 1 hour 30 minute track.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Anger, sadness and disappointment. With a heavy hint of frustration that this can be sold in this way.
Any additional comments?
Do not download it. Get it in another format NOT this Audible version.
