About this listen
Rob Kearney is the most decorated Irish rugby player in history, winning two Six Nations Grand Slams and four European titles during a 15-year career at the very top of the sport, which included two tours with the British and Irish Lions.
One of the most respected and revered names in the professional era, Kearney took the art of full-back play to new heights in the number 15 jersey and his longevity, durability and dedication mark him out as a special man – on and off the pitch. Now, in Rob Kearney: No Hiding: My Autobiography he brings to life the players, the coaches, the matches and the moments that helped define his career. Kearney provides an unflinching, revealing account of life in a Leinster and Ireland shirt, the highs and lows of his profession and wonderfully details the hard work – and the fun – that took place behind the scenes in his decade-long pursuit of glory.

Better than most rugby Autobiographies
great autobiography (good ghost writer as well). shame that narrator changes part way through. Some good insight into his ideas of fullback play.

Stilted and not very interesting
I'm so disappointed, I really respect Rob and what he did for Ireland but this doesn't do him justice at all. He comes across as a petulant little D4 head and he really was not the person to read this. I only go through the 1st 2 chapters before I switched off so if it improved I can't say. Maybe it's unfair to taint the whole book with this review but usually a bad start is a sign of a poor book in my experience. Too much minor detail and negativity about the end of his career and "will Leo play me" musings. Not a good tribute to a great player but to be honest he's a bit like that on the telly to so maybe it is an accurate reflection of him as a person, who knows. Either way not a very compelling book, I see why it's in the free section.

Very good
A brilliant insight into what it’s like to play at the top level for a long time and the consequences that come with it

It’s a no from me
Not great, not great at all. And the guy reading it, stereotypical D4 which is very off putting. Having just finished Sean O Brien’s Fuel , I was hoping to continue with good Irish rugby autobiographies but they are poles apart. Sean O Briens is just excellent, brutally honest and no bull.

Disappointing. Shallow even.
Not the most interesting book you would read! A brilliant player though and good luck to him!
