Nora Roberts at her best
I loved this book. Ethan & Grace's story is probably my favourite of the 4 - it's very well read and very satisfying

Easy Listening
The Quinn Brothers series follows the usual romance format but in this case the main characters do have a bit of an edge. All three male protagonists had a harsh start in life and suffered childhood violence, sexual abuse or gang life. Brought together by their adopted father's death and his dying wish that they care for a fourth adopted brother, a ten year old boy named Seth who none of them know well, Cam, Ethan and Phil must work together to restructure their lives and prevent Seth being returned to life of negligence and cruelty. Along the way they must they must clear their father's name and, as befitting of a Nora Roberts novel, negotiate happiness with the love of their lives.
The narrator's easy drawl adds to the tone of the story and although the characters are involving this is very easy listening. No major twist coming your way, everything does end happily ever after (it's a romance novel after all)!
Be warned though, no mysteries are laid to rest until the third book Inner Harbor and the Quinn Brothers swear - a lot! You may want to use headphones for this one!

Great second book.
Great second book in the series. Ethan had a huge past to overcome and it made him into a wonderful character. Grace was very supportive and shown a lot of maturity for such a young woman. Really enjoying rereading this series.

Great listen but may be a trigger for some people.
As enjoyable as expected after listening to the first book. However thought I’d warn folk that child abuse is referenced quite a lot. It doesn’t go into any great detail, it’s in the background. I suspect there’s more in the rest of the series, I’ll find out soon,I’ve already moved onto the next book.
