Captain Brayden Hamilton nearly died in Mosul, and now his married life is under fire. He offers his wife, Zoe, a divorce to protect her from wounds he has yet to divulge. When she finds out, she’s furious, and hurt - she knew what she was getting into when she married a man in the military.
Can these two mend the injuries from more than one kind of war and have their love triumph in the end?

Giving up control?
I loved this emotional love story with a realistic depiction of what it takes to sustain a military marriage.
The compromises that are necessary and the willingness to cede control even though it goes against the very fibre of a military man.
Is love enough? That is the question raised from the very start of the book and to get the answer the reader faces an emotional roller-coaster, that is well worth the ride..
