About this listen
Conspiracy...subterfuge...darkness and death. From here we venture forth with our tears unwept. We fight to survive, losing our pieces along the way. Salvation is a high price, that some can’t afford to pay. Welcome to where the chaos begins. Malachite believes he has found the location of the fabled lost city of Raqui. It exists only as shards of mythology, relegated to mad ravings in obscure texts. But he believes this is the safe haven his people seek. He recruits a small company for the expedition, but death hides amongst their numbers. Now, they must survive the fall of their homeland and destroy the Lo’ademn, to align the two realms and open the Gates of Golorath.

A great listen
R.M. Garino is a fabulous and talented writer and I thoroughly enjoyed Requiem's Reach! It takes you through a race of Gamesh and Malachite's life and the twists and action that are all a part of it. Great fantasy story and would recommend it. It could be turned into an entertaining movie or tv show!

Loved it
This book is well written, creative, and a deep dive into the world R.M. Garino has made. I love how there are angels and demons in this world, and this book goes through the story, battles, and struggles of each character. Keep up and pay attention because there are a lot of wonderful details that can be easy to miss if you don't pay attention.
There is always something going on in this book and it never gets boring. The narrator is also perfect for this book. Overall a great listen
