This is a great self-stim book.
The calm voice and the well-chosen words make you think if you really love yourself enough.
In addition, the tips Merilu gives make you feel contempt for bad habits, like lifting your mood with chocolate or shopping therapy. You point to many more helpful ways to boost your self-esteem.

Incredible Resource!
Many people including myself struggle with the ability to love themselves and to actually take time out of their day to work on themselves. What I loved about this book is how it provides multiple strategies and resources that can help you "reprogram your mind" as the title says, into being the best version of yourself. Again, this is an incredible resource.

Stress and Harmful comparison is a must chapter!
This audible was really insightful, and the stand-out chapter for me personally was Chapter 5 - Stress and harmful comparison - something I struggle with massively. This chapter has given me the confidence and tools needed to alleviate these in my life, and it will save me so much time and energy in my day-day. All the chapters are well structured with lots of great information and all nicely wrapped up int he final chapter, which motivates you to go out and use the tools you have learnt—highly recommended.

This Audio is one of the most inspiring books I've heard in a while. In it, Marilu Hill shares her personal story of how to overcome depression and learn to love yourself, as well as her own research and insights about the power of self-love.

Regaining love for yourself
In today's world, it is really easy to be influenced by social media, our work, our friends and even our family. Negative thoughts are very intrusive and it is amazing how much power a negative thought has vs a positive one. One of the things I struggle with the most is constantly comparing myself to others. Comparing where I am in my life compared to where they are. Compare my career to theirs. Comparing my marriage to someone elses. I really enjoyed the chapter on the harmful effects of comparison. I feel after listening to the book that I know I need to be able to accept what I have and be happy about it. Just because someone looks happier than you, who's to say they are? It's time to stop thinking of the what if and live in the now and accept that our lives are for us to live and there is no need to ever compare to anyone elses.

Beautiful!
It is so important to love yourself. We need to learn to treat ourselves the way we would treat others and speak to ourselves in the same manner. We can't truly love another without loving ourselves; I firmly believe we can't give away what we don't have! This book includes tools, techniques, and statements to help you get on the right track. You deserve happiness and love. I highly recommend listening to this!

Exellent book for self-growth!
Anyone who desires to flourish and develop should check out this book. The book is divided into sections to make it simple for you to locate a topic you believe needs additional clarification. Hill breaks into the causes of possible self-doubt and offers solutions. The recommendations are practical and simple to carry out. Excellent book for discovering oneself!

Create a loving relationship with you!
Why is it so hard to love yourself? It's unfortunate that we have come so far away from who we are we have a hard time showing love and compassion to ourselves.
I found the "mirror technique" to be most helpful for me. Although it was rather difficult it really helped me change the way i look at my self.
The 8 self care practices were a great call to action to get me actively working towards self love on a daily basis. I really appreciate the authors perspective on self love as a life long commitment rather than just a trend.
Learning to care for my well-being is just a small part of this book, everything you gain from this book will flow over into the people around you as they witness your joy explode!

Where your focus goes your energy flows
I read this book at the perfect time. It provided me with tools to work through the emotional baggage I was going through while reading. I enjoyed the mantras. Motivating and uplifting. The writer explained that self-care is about accepting our flaws and giving ourselves some grace. A great and gentle guidebook towards changing unhealthy attitudes towards self and learning to accept and appreciate our individuality. They help you see the good in yourself and the world around you. They're also great for helping you to manifest your desires. I enjoyed the personal stories inside the lessons. It changed my outlook on my poor health. It was eye-opening to the things I was depriving myself of.

Highly Recommend
With the world we live in today through social media, its so easy to get yourself down comparing yourself to unrealistic standards or looking at negative comments. People with busy work and personal lives beat themselves down almost every day and its not healthy. This is an easy listen to boost up your self esteem and give you confidence. I love the 50 positive statements and i even printed some out and put them up throughout my house, really makes a difference. Very well written
