Summary
A wall went up around Alex Brady's heart when his father, a New York firefighter, died in the Twin Towers. Turning his back on the only woman he ever loved, Alex shut out all the people who cared about him to concentrate on fighting crime. Beautiful touching story
Its 3am and I've not been able to stop listening to this book, the best, most beautiful and poignant story written by Karen Kingsbury so far. The grief Alex suffers after the death of his father on September 11 is so raw and consuming it's healing just to read this book and process it with Alex.
A truly inspiring story. Thanks for writing this book Karen. xx
