Such a powerful book

I have a background in psychology, and I've never heard such a comprehensive explanation of gaslighting before. It can actually be quite confusing, and for the individual who is the victim of gaslighting, it is particularly difficult. I really appreciated the empathetic and concerned approach the author takes. She is very clear about her recommendations, but very understanding of the person in the abusive relationship. She explains what gaslighting is and helps you identify if you are the victim of it, walks a person through the process of leaving the relationship when necessary, and offers a number of helpful recommendations for overcoming the abuse and regaining your self-confidence and joy in life.

Interesting book!

This book covers gaslighting and all related areas in a very clear language.

It starts by explaining what gaslighting means, some of the manipulation tools, the signs to be looking for, and how to exit the relationship.

I like the chapters about moving on and re-gaining self trust. Both chapters give hope to the reader that there are still a lot in life to enjoy. They reach how to reconnect to with yourself and self-care (body &mind). There is a big emphasis on self-compassion and self-awareness to recover from the previous relationship and how to prepare for the next one.

Overall, I find it a complete book about gaslighting.
