Summary

When a young girl goes missing from a Hutterite colony, the case is personal for Tuper. So, his tech-loving sidekick, Lana, volunteers to go undercover in the isolated community and dig for the truth. She quickly learns that Rita has a love interest on the outside, but as they start to think she eloped, another Hutterite girl disappears.

As Tuper seeks help from old friends, Lana hacks into their suspects’ backgrounds, but their leads hit a dead-end. Worried sick, Lana goes deep online into the dark web - where she discovers a disturbing chat room with a conversation about sex trafficking.

Out of leads, Lana makes the ultimate sacrifice and sets herself up as bait. But their plan goes sideways, and her life is soon on the line. Can Tuper find the captive women in time to save them?

Don't miss this compelling story

I loved this book, so much so that once I started I couldn't stop until I finished it. The story was compelling in so many ways. I loved the characters especially tech savvy Lana and her non stop talking. She certainly made me chuckle a time or two. She was a great character to send undercover. I am a big fan of this author, so it was nice that Tuper was joined by another familiar face from her Advocate series in the form of Ron, the banter between him and Lana was entertaining and who could forget Tuper? The cowboy that everybody loves and trusts. The mystery was good and well worked with so many girls missing and the clues they used to find them. As you can tell I would recommend this book, in fact any book written by this talented author and I will probably be re listening to this adventure again very soon.
Those gets a surprise visit from an old friend. His granddaughter has gone missing and as they are from a hutterite colony they don't trust the police, technology or strangers but they need Tuper's help. Tuper as a man won't be able to get the teenage girls friends to talk, so his tech-loving sidekick, Lana puts away her computer and puts on her granny panties to go under cover. They quickly discover Rita is not the first girl interested in the outside world to have gone missing. Have they stumbled on a human trafficking ring? And can they find the girls in time to save them. The only connection they can find is all the girls made a stop at the same shop and befriended Prince Charming. Is Mr Charming the Prince he pretends to be of is he behind it all?
The narrator used a very deep voice for Tuper but it made it easy to distinguish him from the other characters and the voice he used for Lana was perfect for the character.
