More “Reckless” Greatness~Amazing Story & Listen🎧
Nyssa Kathryn pens another winning novel, a fantastic small town romantic suspense that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. It is great to be back in Misty Peak for this fifth book in her “Reckless” series, one of my favorite series and worlds to spend time in. Each book features a different Walker brother, and this book is Lock Walker and Callie Ward’s story and wow, what a story it is. Their story starts with a heartbreak, Callie’s, because Lock, without reason, broke up with her and her life went into a tailspin after that, causing her to leave Misty Peak because she couldn’t she did not want the reminder or what could have been. Lock had his reasons, his team, the ones he served with in the military, and their loved ones were in jeopardy, and he felt his connection to her would cause her harm, too. Before going on the mission to find the person responsible for the threat, he broke things off and her heart, without hearing her out or explaining himself. He realized his mistake after, but it was too late since she left Misty Peak without a trace. Lock returns home after two years to learn that Callie also returned, but she wants nothing to do with him. Lock may have his work cut out for him, but he is not giving up on her. When he finds out she has a stalker, he goes into protective mode, but finding out who her stalker is turns out to be challenging. It was great watching these two reconnect and trying to figure out who the stalker was, and no, I never saw that coming. I loved all the layers of this story and how it all played out, with a perfect balance of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a wonderful second chance romance. Nyssa Kathryn, thank you for another amazing story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Avery Caris and Jason Clarke are superbly talented voice artists and their exceptional performance has been consistent throughout the series. Their character voices have been fitting and their portrayals of each spot on, including the two leads, with Caris nailing it as Callie and Clark as Lock, both showcasing their character’s personality and demeanor perfectly. They continue to set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These two are entertaining storytellers and their performance elevates the already amazing story to another level. Thanks for another amazing listen.

Romantic suspense
How does this authors stories just keep getting better?
The narrators do an excellent job on this book, both have voices that just pull you into the story. I could listen to them all the time.
Lock broke up with Callie two years ago, and she left Misty Peak shortly after. Two years later, she's back to help her dad, and Lock will do anything to get her back.
Lock knows he did the wrong thing but he's not been able to talk to Callie to explain his actions and he does everything he can to show her how much he loves her and needs them to be together. After everything Callie went through its a huge emotional time for her.
The love these two have for each other was clear, but they had things to discuss before they could move forward. There is also a stalker to deal with and also a murderer but with no idea who either one is, tensions were high. Lots of twists made me jump from one name to another throughout the book, and I was not expecting the name that popped up at the end.
An excellent end to this series, I will miss the Walker brothers and their partners, but there's a sneak peak into the next series, I can't wait!

Beautiful Second Chance Romance!
This is the fifth and final book (😭) in the Reckless Series, a small town romantic suspense. I love this series. Lock and Callie's story is beautifully written, emotional, entertaining, and engaging, filled with secrets, action, and danger. I liked the mystery, and the twists and turns. This is a beautiful second chance romance, and an excellent conclusion to this amazing series. Jason Clarke and Avery Caris did an outstanding job bringing these characters, and this story to life. They are both amazing voice actors. I enjoyed it. I highly recommend this series.

Lock & Callie!
Nyssa Kathryn is definitely one of my top romantic suspense authors and this installment of the Reckless series pushes all the right buttons for me. Mystic Peak has had it's ups and downs, and now Lock is returning to find out which his is! Callie is the woman he loves, and he is ready to settle down, but her pain from him leaving her is still as raw as the day he left. But what Lock doesn't know is the danger she is in. He finds out that not only is he in love with her, but there is another, one who does not stop at anything to finally get what he wants. Will Lock be able to keep Callie safe? Will she want him back? This is an emotionally packed story on all fronts. Trust is imperative, and when it's broken, all can be lost. The suspense ramps up and Kathryn had me guessing until the end! It's a fabulous listen and perfect ending to the series.
Avery Caris and Jason Clarke finish their narration of this series with an impactful performance. These two are an amazing team, and each story had it's own flare. But this one for me stand out, with the building of suspense, the passion and the small town feel of friends and family. I loved their take on each personality and enjoyed every minute of their performance.
