About this listen
I'm not a bad person, but maybe I did a bad thing....
Life is good for Anna Wright. She's a successful media executive working for one of the UK's largest TV corporations. She's got a great boyfriend, some close friends and a lovely home. She adores her dog, Wispa, and she loves to run to help her destress.
But Anna's perfect life starts to crumble from the moment when, out jogging on the Heath one day, she meets a handsome stranger. She takes a route into unfamiliar territory, and then she has to face the consequences.
There's a dark, growing creepiness as the atmosphere becomes unsettled, and, as Anna's professional life becomes increasingly pressured and poisonous, her obsession with the intriguing stranger intensifies.

it was OK. ..
unfortunately I figured out 'whodunit' quite early on! it was a goodish story but probably wouldn't listen to it again. I did however, like the narrators voice.

Too many characters
I think there were a few too many characters in this book, I struggled to keep up with them all! The narrators dodgy Scottish accent is a bit of a distraction from the actual storyline. It had a good storyline, although I was right with my prediction of "whodunnit" so not such an exciting ending. Would still recommend though, especially to chocolate Labrador fans!

Enjoyable but ending a bit lame
Was hooked all the way through but the ending was predicable and the book ended rather quickly and sudden
So many questions unanswered...

Thoroughly Enjoyed
Where does Rebound rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I struggle to find a decent audio book that keeps me listening, but this one did. So definitely in my top 5.
Have you listened to any of Nathalie Buscombe’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Haven't listened to one of hers before.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This book has funny parts, sad parts, happy parts and gripping parts, so covered everything.
Any additional comments?
Really good, easy to listen to, good storyline, good characters.Loved Wispa and how all her actions were brought into the story, I have a chocolate lab and some of the things Wispa did made me laugh.

Left me thinking!
Ok, this was written well, I enjoyed the story and the narration. I did think it was who it was in the end, which is unusual for me, considering there could have been 50 people who did it, (ok, slight exaggeration) because every male the heroine came into contact with seemed to fancy her, want her or she wanted.
She did have an obsession with sticking to her favourite running route despite it being the centre of crimes, which left me speechless at times..... She wasn't stupid. It almost made me feel like she was attention seeking. I was addicted to this character and her behaviour and dealings with the people in her life.
Enjoyable, a character that leaves you thinking for sure.

Rebound
I enjoyed the audiobook version of this novel. The female protagonist and victim gets herself in all kinds of trouble in this excellent piece of crime fiction. Wrong place at the wrong time. She also has a habit of meeting a number of unsavoury characters. It must also be said, though, that she is not a 'little miss innocent' and her personality grates at times. There are one or two nice twists and the novel runs at a good pace. I was amused by the confrontation over Bell's ashes. Highly recommended.

Gripping from start to finish
I loved this audio book , narrated very well , really brought it to life. I like Anna although she is very self obsessed. Wispa the dog plays a lead role so I wondered at the beginning did you have to be a dog lover to enjoy the book! It's very exciting and gripping , i throughly enjoyed it.
