About this listen
Left to die. She destroyed him. He lives for bittersweet revenge.
Rebel barely survived the gut-wrenching betrayal from the woman he loved. Crawling into the bottle after she sold him out and cost his SEAL team their lives, he isn't sure he wants to go on. But when a beautiful girl resembling his ex begs him for help because someone is following her, he can't resist playing the hero one more time.
Fighting his attraction to the gorgeous lookalike, Rebel follows the trail to an organ-smuggling cartel. But when he discovers it's led by the vixen who sold him out, his quest for redemption becomes a mission for vengeance.
Can Rebel save the woman who needs him, or will he sacrifice everything to have his revenge?

Omgoodness so good
Omgoodness I was so caught up in this story, I didn’t want to stop listening. Brad did an amazing job narrating this book. I felt all the emotions from the characters. Luckily with this download you get books 1-4 so you get Rebel’s complete story. You DO have to pay attention pretty close sometimes because they tell the story from different POV’s and it takes you back a couple of times, but that didn’t detour me. I really enjoyed this story and was totally hooked. Not a lot of sexual scenes. The closer to the end the more I was sitting on the edge of my seat. HEA. There are more books in this series so get ready! I definitely recommend this book.

Kelly has started a very enjoyable series here(hopefully) that I’m sure will be very popular.

Great intertwining story
I love this author's work. She always gives me lots of "feels" when I listen to her books and Rebels Retribution was definitely a full on "feels" book.
This book tells the story of 3 individuals that their lives have intertwined over the years and so it goes from present day to past throughout the book so you have to keep up with where they are at that point but it tells you so just listen and you will be able to follow them.
Derrick Rebel is the Seal leader and Theo is his snipper, Fallon meets Theo by chance on a plane and years later she is dependent on both Theo and Derrick to save her. No spoilers here but know it is a great story of great characters that deal with some ruff situations. It is a love story to some effects but there is more action and traumatic events going on besides hot love. I was totally engulfed with these three as well as other characters throughout and I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series.
Brad Gilliam did an amazing job narrating this book. He really poured his heart and soul into the characters and wow, just wow I loved listening to him.
I loved this book and highly recommend it.

very different style + errors in recording
Errors in recording - The chapter listed as Chapter 2 is really Chapter 1 (meet rebel and Ekko) and the first part of Chapter 2 (The mission plans). Then chapter 3 starts and it goes back to the beginning and we relisten to Chapter 1 (meet rebel and Ekko). Then chapter 4 (The mission plans). Sooooo you need to skip Chapter 2 and the book will flow correctly.
The book is composed of 4 books/parts - The first 3 are just the backstories for 3 different characters. In the 4th book the underlying story moves forward. Lots of repeated text during Theo's backstory - if I have to re-read/listen word or word the exact same pages in the same book I'm gonna drop a star. Kept having to skip forward.
I wasn't completely against this different style of writing, but I also didn't really love it. I'm glad I used the audio version more than the ebook version so I could multitask a bit. Overall, enjoyable and want to know more about Fiona and Theo so I'm on to book 2 (or books 5-7 haha)
The narration is also a bit different than I'm used to. I liked Brad Gilliam's voice and narration but sometimes the added sound effects (e.g., car not starting) sounded strange. I'm undecided if I like it or not.

This is very good!
Rebel is a Navy seal. His team is set up by their handler, Nina..only he and Theo survive.
Fallon has taken care of her sister since their adoptive parents died. Josie is sick and needs a kidney transplant. They sign her up with a private company to help find a match.
Jelly Moore did a wonderful job creating characters that are interesting and deep. Rebel has been distrustful and angry. He feels responsible for his teams deaths.
This book is definitely worth the listen!! Brad Gilliam’s voice is pleasant and easy to listen to.

Intense
Kelly Moore pulled me in immediately with Rebel's Retribution. I love how this author writes emotional books that tug at my heart. This story has more action/thriller genre theme than her epic love stories, but still packs a powerful punch. I really enjoyed this story of Rebel and Fallon. Brad Gilliam did a good job bringing the characters to life with his voice.

Exciting story!
Rebel's Retribution is an exciting, fast moving story which set the scene within minutes. Rebel, Fallon and Theo are great leading characters who all go through the worst experiences life can throw up. Told through the eyes of each of these main characters, I enjoyed the thrill of the ride.
It is narrated very well by Brad Gilliam. He captures the intensity of many of the scenes, though the volume of his voice took me off guard a few times.

Bloody Brilliant
OMG! I love the crossovers between Rebel, Falon and Theo and am super excited for Theos book. the storyline had just the right amount of Action, suspense and romance.
I do find the narrationed a little alarming when he is conveying passion or anger it can get loud and shouty and that can be an unwelcome surprise especially if tour listening through headphones! but it doesnt take away from the great story

Rebel’s Retribution
Rebel is a soldier and knows nothing else. When an ultimate betrayal happens he must find a way back and make his way in the world without the military. We watch him suffer and struggle to bring himself out of the isolation while trying to help his friend. This book is really fun to listen to. There are a couple times that you feel you may be listening to the same thing, but it is from different points of view so it fills in some blanks while listening.

repetitive
Confused by this one, it tells the same story three times over it seems. Not just to the point where the protagonists connect, you have to read the whole thing you already read. Why? I got to the third time of telling and gave up. Sorry didn't like it well enough to take it all three times over.
