A Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery
Cendrine West can't catch a break. She's close to landing a new job, and things are getting cozy with sexy sheriff Tyler Gates. All that changes when she is kidnapped by renegade witch Aunt Pearl, who is hell-bent on avenging a friend's untimely death. It's Las Vegas or bust...for all the wrong reasons.
Rocco Racatelli is a hunky Vegas kingpin - and the next mob target. Lady Luck has dealt him a losing hand and he wants revenge. When Aunt Pearl is a little too eager to help, project Vegas Vendetta quickly escalates into an all-out mob turf war. As the witches are thrust into Sin City's seamy underworld, bodies pile up and secrets are exposed.
It's not just the Las Vegas heat that's scorching...Rocco is intent on winning Cen's heart. But she only wants the man she left behind in Westwick Corners. All she has to do is solve a murder, out-magic her ornery aunt, and take down the Las Vegas mafia. What could possibly go wrong?
When organized crime meets unorganized magic, anything can happen! As the body count climbs, it's clear that Cen needs more than a miracle in the desert to set things right.

Las Vegas Mafia and Witches.
There is kidnapping, vengeance, witches, the Mafia, Las Vegas, witches, romance, crime and witches. Lots of plot lines make this a really enjoyable listen. The action moves from Westwick to Las Vegas in this second tale of this cozy series. The writing is great, plots zip along and the characters always Interesting. A wonderful narrator adds to the overall pleasure.

A cute story
This was a fun, quick listen. The family get into lots of madcap adventures with humorous results. An entertaining listen.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading audio copy.

Highly entertaining
I listened to this on audiobook.
I'll be the first to admit that I don't usually read Cozy mysteries, however this four part book series appealed to me because of the Witches and magic contained within said stories. So because of that I decided to give the first book "Witch You Well" a go and I'm very glad that I did. So it was a no brained to continue on with the series.
So book 2 Rags to Witches was even more fun than book 1. It was full on entertaining again with all sorts going on, but this time the story was set in Las Vegas and we all know what they say about that place lol. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. I thoroughly enjoyed being reacquainted with the characters of Cen, Pearl and Ruby. It was also great to see the return of the Sheriff whom I didn’t think would be featured much in this story with it being based in Vegas, so glad I was wrong on that count. The character of Pearl always makes me roll my eyes at times, some of the things she comes out with and gets up to, she really is quite a handful. So it's all happening in this story and definitely never a dull moment from start to finish. Plus a couple of the scenes did make me giggle.
So all in all, I very much enjoyed this and I'm looking forward to continuing the series with book 3.

Great Cozy mystery
A great second instalment of the Westwick Witches. Cendrine is travelling to an interview when Aunt Pearl intervenes and she ends up in Las Vegas attending a funeral. Things quickly go downhill as the funeral turns into a murder investigation and all the suspects are mobsters. Sheriff Tyler Gates comes to the rescue and romance is on the cards for Cendrine but the Sheriff has a shocking secret of his own! I am quickly becoming fond of the Westwick Witches and look forward to the next instalment.

Light hearted fun mystery
Love these witchy mysteries. It is light and fun with enough twists and turns to keep going until the mystery is solved - literrally twisted till the last minute. Did not expect the ending at all. LOVED IT and cannot wait for the rest

Nice Easy Listen But Good Story
I enjoyed this book.
I had not read the first book in the series but it didn't matter as the author includes enough background so you know who is who but doesn't let this overtake this new book.
It stands alone yet it left me wanting to read the previous book and hope that more books in the series are forthcoming.
The story is a very easy read which is good, its what is wanted, a book that contains a good story but not one that is heavy and hard going. A book which is just one you can listen to for pure enjoyment and relaxation.
The book hangs together well and I think it ties the different themes together well.
It most definitely fits the cosy Mystery Genre even with splashes of witchcraft and romance throughout it along with the expected murders.
The only thing that spoiled it for me was the narrator, as her voice, to me made the main Character sound as if she was 14 - the book is written in the first person, the main Character is telling the story and until she mentioned her age I had honestly thought she was a teenager. There was nothing in the story to give this impression it was just the way the narrator spoke - this could be because I am from the UK and the narrator is American so maybe the narrator is speaking as others who know the American accent better would say but this is how they would expect a woman the characters age to speak.
To me, the narrator would be fantastic reading books whose main character is a teen.
It was the only niggle I had with the book and it did spoil my enjoyment a little.
I have definitely added the author to my list of authors whose books I would listen to.
I must state I did receive this book free on the understanding I would give a truthful review, which this is.

Such convolutions until the truth comes out.
Cendrine has a hard time with her family pushing her in ways she doesn’t want. Love the personal bit at the end, looking forward to what happens there!
