Summary

A Furious Love Is Hot on Your Trail!

Many believers feel stunted in their Christian growth. We beat ourselves up over our failures and, in the process, pull away from God because we subconsciously believe He tallies our defects and hangs His head in disappointment.

In this new edition - now with a foreword by Michael W. Smith, testimony by Rich Mullins and the author's own epilogue, "Ragamuffin Ten Years Later," Brennan Manning reminds us that nothing could be further from the truth. The Father beckons us to Himself with a "furious love" that burns brightly and constantly. Only when we truly embrace God's grace can we bask in the joy of a gospel that enfolds the most needy of His flock - the "ragamuffins."

Grace and rest for the burned out soul

A book that reminds us that God’s abundant grace is not given as a reward for our efforts, but because needing it offers us the opportunity to experience His amazing and overwhelming love.
A big deep breath of fresh air that makes religiosity appear as a dungeon for the soul.
The ragamuffin gospel is the pied piper’s flute to the children of God who feel they have nothing to offer - the call from Jesus that says “come as you are” because He brings all we need.
Beautifully narrated and the afterword is a treat!
You cannot listen to this and remain unchanged by grace and inspired by love.

HUGELY reccomended

A book to be read over and over to remind us how much love and grace are as critical to life as the air we breathe....

A solid reminder about grace

God's grace is above and beyond our natural tendencies to moralise and force a conformity from believers often forgetting we're all sinners in need of grace!
