Summary
A special 25th anniversary edition narrated by the author.
Discover the deliciously dark and fantastically funny number one best seller about a woman living life rather too well and being whisked away from it all, from the number one best-selling author of Grown Ups.
'How did it end up like this? Twenty-seven, unemployed, mistaken for a drug addict, in a treatment centre in the back arse of nowhere with an empty Valium bottle in my knickers....'
Meet Rachel Walsh.
She's been living it up in New York City, spending her nights talking her way into glamorous parties before heading home in the early hours to her hot boyfriend, Luke.
But her sensible older sister showing up and sending her off to actual rehab wasn't quite part of her plan.
She's only agreed to her incarceration because she's heard that rehab is wall-to-wall Jacuzzis, gymnasiums and rock stars going cold turkey - plus it's about time she had a holiday.
Saying goodbye to fun will be hard. But not as hard as losing the man who she realises, all too late, might just be the love of her life....
Critic reviews
“Gloriously funny.” (Sunday Times)
“Irresistible, profound...Keyes' comic gift is always evident.” (Independent)
“Comic, convincing and true.” (Guardian)

Just brilliant!
Truly laughed my way through this book - the sister practicing to be an air-hostess for Air Paella made me howl! But giving this book depth are the thought provoking insights that are so gently scattered in amongst the humour, meaning you've absorbed them before you even realize it.

Another epic book by the talented Marian Keyes!
Loved this book, although I listened to "Again, Rachel" 1st... which was the wrong way around! Marian Keyes is such a talented author with a great sense of humour. I love all her books; they're gripping and I always feel sad when they come to an end. Those audible titles that she narrates herself are brilliant... her lovely Irish accent is so enjoyable.

Brilliant
Although this is a fictional story , you can tell that Marian really kows her facts .
As the mother of a coccaine addict I am really struggling, but although it was a very emotive read in a lot of places , I found that it helped me understand her more .
I desperately hope that she seeks help like Rachel.

Thank you for writing and reading this book. having had a short relationship with an addict, so much resonated. Sadly his chosen path led him elsewhere 😔
