Summary
A new ghost has checked in at Eternal Rest Bed and Breakfast.
When a high-maintenance celebrity psychic and her reality TV show entourage show up at Eternal Rest Bed and Breakfast, it’s the least of Emily Buchanan’s worries. A frightening new presence is terrifying her guests and ghosts. When a guest turns up dead, Emily’s best friend, Sage, is the prime suspect.
As Sage works to recover her psychic abilities, it’s Emily who must communicate with the ghost of the victim to find out who the real killer is. Along the way, Emily will discover that her guests have a lot of secrets. The biggest secret, though, is what really happened in her late husband’s fatal car crash. Emily finally gets the answers she has been seeking, but nothing could have prepared her for the truth….

Great love this series
Love this series and this is a superb climax. Lots of pose ends tied up, a few laughs a couple of moments that had me choking up. Great stuff. When a film crew comes to town to make a ghost hunting show and the star is murdered. Sage becomes a suspect and the team investigate. A diva ghost, Scotts return with his dark companion, intrigue and professional jealousy, and an inventive murder method make, this a ,great read. Patricia Shade does an splendid job with the narration. I hope there will be more of these stories in the future. I received a complimentary copy of the audio book from the Author and am leaving a honest voluntary review.

Great Ending
Was a strong finish to the series. The ending did not disappoint. It tidied away most of the plot parts and wasn't without the dead body belonging to someone associated with a stay at Eternal Rest. Glad to see Sage return to form, and the friends all gather to support Emily once more. I will miss this gang.

Great book and not just for Quiet nights
I loved reading this book on my kindle but for some reason having it read to you makes to so much more enjoyable. With so many questions answered and situations solved ( of which I did shed a few tears over, yep cried both times) in this book I was really glad to know that the author is still planning other adventures for Emily and the gang. This book can be read as a standalone as the author does explain the situation but you get a better understanding if you have read the whole series and to be honest it is worth it. It's a fun series that I really love and I am so glad I discovered this author. I love the characters and having gotten to know them so well they feel like old friends, hence the tears not that it is sad, I just get emotionally invested in books. I really like the way the different ghosts throughout the series found ways of communicating, the ghost In this book in particular had a lot of fun that I really enjoyed. The mystery kept me guessing and I worked it about the same time as Emily. Having read the book I was able to pick up on the clue this time round and was surprised with how many there were cleverly hidden. Quietly waiting for the next book.
After lowering the barrier that protected the town Sage's medium powers have deserted for the time being and it is up to Emily to help the ghosts. That is until her latest guests at the B&B turn out to be mediums filming a tv show. The star of the show has a history with Sage, so when she goes missing and turns up dead in Sage's shop, she is the main suspect. Can Emily and her friends find the real killer? And stop the evil entity that is draining Emily's dead husbands energy? Maybe with enough mediums in the B&B and the murdered victims ghost helping. Then another person connected to the show is killed and time starts to run out.
I really like the choice of narrator. She does such a good job that you feel like you are part of the team investigating the mystery.

great conclusion
Thank you to Beth Dolgner for this audible book, this review is my honest opinion.
This was the perfect conclusion to this series. I was left satisfied with the bittersweet ending and I loved the direction the novel took.
I've loved the murder mysteries throughout the series and I just love how Beth Dolgner writes these cozy mysteries. The main characters progressed naturally throughout and the added characters fitted into the storyline well.
I must highlight the narrator Patricia Shade as she was fantastic through this series, her voice fitted well with the novels. I have a bit of a hit and miss status with audio books but Patricia Shade's voice got me through all 7 books and I retained all the information and enjoyed the storytelling as if it was a little movie playing out in my head.
I highly recommend this series both for the storyline and the creativity that Beth Dolgner has created and for the storytelling of Patricia Shade.

What a great conclusion to the series!
4.5 Stars! I loved this book! It was great finally getting answers to some of the questions that have been teased from book 1 all the way through to book 6. As always, all the characters were fun, I loved being back in Eternal Rest Bed and Breakfast world. My favourite part of this was finally solving the mystery behind Emily’s Husband, and Emily coming into her psychic abilities!
As always, this book was narrated by Patricia Shade (like the other books in the series). Patricia Shade does an amazing job bringing to life both Emily and all the other side characters. I really do recommend this book (and the entire series tbh), but especially on audio!
