About this listen

From New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Kristen Ashley comes a new story in her Dream Man series...

Charlotte “Lottie” McAlister is in the zone. She’s ready to take on the next chapter of her life, and since she doesn’t have a man, she’ll do what she’s done all along. She’ll take care of business on her own. Even if that business means starting a family.

The problem is, Lottie has a stalker. The really bad kind. The kind that means she needs a bodyguard.

Enter Mo Morrison.

Enormous. Scary.

Quiet.

Mo doesn’t say much, and Lottie’s used to getting attention. And she wants Mo’s attention. Badly.

But Mo has a strict rule. If he’s guarding your body, that’s all he’s doing with it.

However, the longer Mo has to keep Lottie safe, the faster he falls for the beautiful blonde who has it so together, she might even be able to tackle the demons he’s got in his head that just won’t die.

But in the end, Lottie and Mo don’t only have to find some way to keep hands off until the threat is over, they have to negotiate the overprotective Hot Bunch, Lottie’s crazy stepdad, Tex, Mo’s crew of frat-boy commandos, not to mention his nutty sisters.

All before Lottie finally gets her Dream Man.

And Mo can lay claim to his Dream Girl.

Gutted it took me so long to read

Quiet Man: Dream man by Kristen Ashley
I put off reading this for ages but I’m gutted I did. Lottie jet sister is main character and while dancing for smithie develops a stalker. Smithie hires Hawk because they wanted to keep hot bunch and rock chicks out of it.
Mo is a commando that works for Hawk and within seconds of meeting Lottie falls hard. They do a great job building sexual tension because Mo keeps it professional while protecting lottie.
I love that all previous characters are involved across different book series. I’ve just got Mag and Evie/Evan book for Christmas so looking forward to that.

What a treat!!!

Love getting back to the rock chick's, hot bunch and hawks boys. Mo and Lottie was a real treat!! Loved it. Sweet little story with great characters, zany family, sassy women and swanky, macho guys. Really live the kids too..... What's not to like from kristen Ashley?!

Excellent

I’m so happy these characters got their HEA. They have waited so patiently. It’s an exciting storyline with good action. A brilliant performance.

Love anything rock chick

It was nice to see Lottie hea and it is nice that her dream man isn’t a conventional beauty too. The story has elements of rock chicks in it with its hilarity, steam, action and preposterous dialogues. As always very entertaining and the narration was outstanding as always, but it would have been better with a male narrator too.

A book with steam and action and of course an HEA!

This was a bodyguard romance full of action. Lottie has a stalker and Mo is signed up to protect her. I love that Lottie is this fiercely independent woman, and although she’s going through this scary time, she still knows what she wants (Mo) and goes for it. There’s an undeniable chemistry between these two right from the start and when they finally give in, the heat is scorching. Mo definitely lives up to the title of this book. He’s a brooding man of few words, but I loved all his inner monologue.

I love these 1001 DARK NIGHTS novellas, as we really get a great introduction into a world and I loved meeting all the characters that I now know have their own books. Mo’s sisters are hilarious!

Susannah does a great job of voicing both Lottie and Mo’s chapters. She has a range of voices and give us all the emotions too.

A great introduction to Kristen’s writing, I’m looking forward to reading more of her books now.
