Saber Wynter is running from her past when she meets Jess Calhoun, an ex-Navy SEAL who is physically and emotionally compromised by his own mysterious and violent history as a GhostWalker. What Jess senses in Saber is a kindred spirit, a lost soul desperate for sanctuary. He offers her a home, a job, and a haven where she can safely reveal the secrets that shadow her. I don't think this novel nor any of the others in this genre will be read as time goes by. It is a standard story of boy-meets-girl, and they have to overcome a certain amount of trouble and problems. As they do, he teaches her that she's worthy of love - and how to love and please him, and most everything else. The sex written is cliche and I started skipping those parts as the did nothing for the storyline.
Hopefully I can avoid this sort of novels later on as I'd rather read stories written from a more up-to-date point of view in regards to gender and sex.

Not up-to-date
