A very specific take on prayer...
This assumes a very high Christian protestant approach, but even if you don't share the Christology there are some interesting ideas. Worth a scan, but more of an instruction manual for a particular type of Christianity than a theological overview!

Having finished it, I want to read it (and will) again!
An easy to read, conversational, pastoral guide to understanding personal prayer. An absolute must read for any Christian.

Very good book
Really interesting, inspiring and easy to follow. Practical and rooted in scripture, it captures the wonder of prayer and is an encouragement to get on and do it.

A Heart Opening Book
This book was great I enjoyed the continual references to biblical verses to back up the narrative explanations. It has lead me to understand more about prayer and God. There are few books which open up the heart but this one has and has left me with way to continue my devotional experience & deepening intimacy with God!

Content good. Narration - don’t listen and drive!
Excellent and comprehensive review of many prayer styles, let down by a very boring narration. This should come with a warning - Dont listen and Drive. It’s the delivery not the content.

So insightful!
very in depth insight into prayer with many practical examples.
I found that it’s helpful to read this book and pause at certain parts to actually apply what is being spoken.

A really good read
Narrator is good. Quite informative and insightful. Gives a different perspective to prayer and intimacy with God that I did not know before.I would definitely recommend.
