This eagerly awaited instalment delivered a fast paced and action packed read full of dramatic suspense, pulse pounding intensity and a higher than normal body count! I cried at the loss of all the characters like long lost friends, but I know I'll meet them again when I reread the series again. so the question is what's next for redemption, whatever it is I can't wait to find out I'm sure I won't be disappointed!

As usual, Christopher and Kim have made a brilliant installment of the Burning Tree series. The plot is gripping, you will enjoy the dry sense of humour of some of the characters, you will laugh & probably cry, it's a rollercoaster of emotions and incredible story telling by Kim the narrator.
His writing style always pulls you in because you will want to find out what happens from the first chapter!

I really enjoyed the complete series and having listened back to back for over 150 hours, it was a bit of a wrench when it ended. Great story, great writing and great narration. The only minor criticism is that the ending seemed a bit abrupt. Will definitely be listening to more books by Christopher Artinian.
