Summary
They were humanity’s last hope...and humanity wanted them dead.
Blamed for the Miami massacre, Brawley lays low with a Carnal biker gang, vowing to train hard and crack strands.
Seven orders. Seven amazing powers. Seven beautiful teachers.
Will Brawley bond with a frightened but deadly cat girl? A lovely, grease-streaked Gearhead trapped in psionic slavery? Or a telepathic damsel in distress crying out from his past?
The choice will change Brawley forever.
But when he leaves hiding to seek a mysterious object hidden by his deceased parents, “forever” might end quickly.
How can Brawley fulfill his destiny when everyone is after him?
The Order, the FPI, the Tiger Mage...they all want him dead. And now, a terrifying new enemy has joined the hunt: A dark summoner whose secret agenda will shed light on the past - and darkness on the future.
Warning: Like my other work, this series contains explicit scenes. It has violence and a harem element.

Top Notch Story, Sub Par Voice Acting
If you've liked the story of those books to this point then you will enjoy this book because the story telling is really consistent. It is in a bit of a holding pattern maybe as not a huge amount gets accomplished with this book, bit it is really fun. The voice acting however is another matter.
I have the same issue with this actress that I have in all the other books I have heard her narrate. She often starts strong, but then as the number of voices she takes on rises, those voices become more and more cartoonish. The problem is that those cartoonish voices are like nails on a chalk board to me when listening to an audiobook. Whether they are high pitched and squeaky is such a way that it makes your ears ring, or artificially deep and raspy in a way that makes them it to understand, they pull you from the story and ruin the experience.
When it comes to voice acting, subtlety is key. A man who does a woman's voice as a high pitched squeaky sound is never going to be as believable as one who speaks in a slightly softer tone that doesn't actually try to sound like a woman's voice but suggests that it could be. The human mind is an amazing thing in that it can take a suggestion and run with it, augmenting reality to build a better mental picture. You clobber it over the head though and you just break the illusion.
Therefore, I finished this book with a literal headache from this assault on my ears. I'll be going back to reading these books from this point as I'm not willing to put myself through that again.

Great
Awesome continuation of the story. I love how he's not holding back on what the enemies are doing. It's also great to see the growth and development of all in the main group of characters.
