This book consists of a series of positive thoughts. I think it works well as an audiobook as you can use it like a relaxation tape while you take in the positive messages. It is something you should listen to lots of times until the messages start to stick. Nora Grace has a soothing voice that is pleasant to listen to.
The experts say that positive thinking works, but the only way is to prove it to yourself by trying it. The messages sort of remind me of what people say about the power of prayer, but note this is not a book that sells any sort of religion- nor do the others mentioned in this review.
Having positive thoughts is more comfortable than negative ones, so you have everything to gain and nothing to lose by trying it. You would probably get more out of it by finding out about the ideas behind the laws of attraction first. (Beware, there are some sucky books on the subject written by people who are good attracting a fast buck. ) The Secret or The Power by Rhonda Byrne are a good start - other writers who seem genuine are Mike Dooley and Louise Hay. Michael Samuels provides a practical guide to getting started if you need a more structured approach.
If you are having a bad time, these ideas might help you get to a place where you can accept help and support or they may help you directly if you 'get' what Sheila Skye and the others are saying. Good luck and may all your dreams come true.
