Patrick Warburton Perfection!

This is an unusual book without the usual type of linear storyline. Instead, there is a loose plot with many, many, meandering diversions and asides. These are frequently funny and usually thought provoking.
Patrick Warburton’s narration marries with this perfectly and gives the book an incredibly charming and listenable quality. His voice is somehow soothing and intensely relaxing, yet always animated and entertaining.
I love his performance and have listened to and enjoyed this unique book multiple times. Highly recommended!

really enjoyed this Lemony Snicket story.

it is meandering and amusing and lyrical but comes smoothly back its philosophical points and Patrick Warburton is an excellent narrator for Lemony Snicket books (and TV series)

Brilliant narrator, story was okay.

Patrick Warburton needs to read more books for audible, especially ones written by Lemony Snicket. I really enjoyed listening to him. Story was okay, found myself laughing at certain parts and slightly bored in other parts. I would recommend it purely for Patrick Warburton.

Very good story and narration

This was a very good narration by Patrick Warburton it’s a pity that he hasn’t done any more. The story was lifted from a simple reading by his delivery and makes other narrators seem a little flat in comparison.
