Having a dog that becomes part of your life just like a family member and having them disappear forever can be very difficult but their memory lives on. This story was so full of love it made me tear up. The author still holds so much affection in her heart for this in credible animal and it shows. It truly was the friendship of a lifetime. This gave me such fond memories of my dogs and made me miss them every more. I think every dog lover and appreciates the unique bond that the author describes in this emotionally vulnerable story. I loved it and I'm going to pass it on to my sister who will adore it also.
